I was in my horror movie mode, where i separate certain cliches that just have to happen in modern horror from the good bits. I view film and horror film as two completely different entities, and this time it seemed that some of the good bits of normal well made film carried over. I went in expecting a shite horror movie and came out with a better than that horror movie for the first time in at least 3 years. That, I believe, is what influenced my review so highly. Still an 8/10 for me. Also, go easy on Ron you shits - he's the fucking man! (...from office space - a film i still somehow enjoy)

Much Ado About Nothing - 7/10 - Takes a bit before you get into the shakespearian mindset, but once you're there its brilliant. The Conjuring - 8/10 - Best horror film I've seen in years. Incredibly well cast, filmed, written and directed. I sincerely mean that. (the shots of the house panning outwards through the mist reminded me of classic, classic horror).

I got a pretty bad upper crotch bruise while mountain biking the other day - it now it hurts to wear pants. Staying home all day with no pants on. This is so uncomfortable seriously. I need to embrace the pantslessness but I cannot. + it hurts like a motherf****r when i sit up or bump into stuff.

on a sad note, my favorite gourmet place in town just stopped serving their amazing burger it's now on rotation and only pops up once or twice a year as far as i can tell i was planning on having a picture for this thread, but i couldn't even get the damn thing i have to stay alert so i don't miss it when it makes it onto their menu btw some of these burgers look goddamn delicious - you guys know whats up

My cat hasn't come inside in a day which is a totally dumb thing to worry about considering she is completely capable of surviving outdoors and has stayed out for 2 or 3 days at a time and it's just a day but still gah feeling pretty worried

Been experimenting with noise for a bit now - I have a new EP coming out later today - I'll link it up once it's uploaded. I'm just beginning, but I think this is miles better than my previous noise release. Either way, it was super fun to make. I actually scared myself on one of the tracks due to the sheer audible horror that I had created. It's like... a ghost giving birth through a broken loudspeaker.. digitally sped up Bit of a mix of harsh noise, drone/ambient and pure sample-fuckery.
