  1. Well I know her name and her vital statistics - she said to wait here.
  2. Oh I hope it too, but long since resigned to collecting live recordings and expecting the albums to break new ground. Actually I think I would be disappointed at a live set release, since the live sets are like a whole second release schedule and we get (effectively) another lo-fi album each time they tour.
  3. 2003: "I hope Draft has some of the stuff from their live sets" 2005: "I hope Untilted has stuff from the live set on it" 2008: "I hear Quaristice is based on edited jams, at last some of the live sets" 2010: "Oversteps better have the live sets on it" 2010: "Move of Ten sounds like it will be a release of the live set" 2011: "Maybe a bonus live disc with the EPs box"
  4. And in a reasonable and helpful way, I should mention publicly.
  5. What about the "amusing text" I posted which had no links whatsoever? Why was that a violation? All it had was a stupid piece of generic text about a "hot" upcoming album into which they had pasted "Autechre" and "Exai". Just a piece of text is a violation?
  6. Oh me too, I was just bein' faux-profound. Reading a good review can make my day. And I wrote quite a few reviews myself, way back when.
  7. I heard that writing about music is like dancing about architecture. In that death is too good for you if you're caught doing it.
  8. I just put Untilted on to remind myself of its brilliance. It's even better than I remembered. Iera - outtake from Draft? Discuss.
  9. ezackly. Those mutating tracks are epic. If anything Untilted is my favourite since Confield.

    draft 7.30

I love all the wood-based sounds - hence "xylin room" of course. But once you know they threw and hit pieces of wood to record for percussion samples, the wooden sound is all over it.

    Milk DX

    Damn, that is COOL.
  12. WHERE CAN I BUY THIS? (rhetorical question of course but the bit I have heard is fantastic) WARP PLEASE SELL THIS ON BLEEP.
  13. I'm older than many here (40) so I thought I was doomed to fail this because of my declining high end frequency response. Although the Autechre piece was dead easy (soundstage and transients were gone in the MP3) the Glass had an interesting thing - I was listening intently to the highs and trying to pick them apart, which I couldn't, but I kept noticing quiet, rumbling noises which sounded like people shifting in their seats during the recording. When I checked the spectrum I realised these were all in the MP3 parts, particularly in the switch from FLAC to MP3, so they were caused by the encode and not the recording. Wonder if these were phase shifts or something - anyway they were clearly audible before I knew they were MP3 related.
  14. Still gonna check Bleep at 12 though. It didn't originate with me though - it was wayyyy back in the early part of the thread when someone else mentioned it as a possibility, that I thought was convincing. Either that or I misread someone's post and ran with the ball.
  15. Midnight came and went, no download. Time to sleep.
  16. So my Bleep downloads page has stopped displaying an error message (from support: "This release is not available for download yet so it will bring up an error message if you try to do so before we release it."), although there's nothing to download as yet. Here in Australia it's 2 hours until 210210.
  17. 210210 and no, I don't have any evidence to back that up.
