    My dream this morning is too convoluted and obscure to accurately log, but for part of it I was traversing the city streets on an electric skateboard in the winter. Then I had an auditory hallucination in the interim between the dream and when I fully awoke. It was my dad's voice, even though he died more than 8 months ago. This is honestly the first time this has happened tho.

    YouTube has been screwing over content creators and demonetizing videos across the board lately, all because of some algorithmic filter for ad revenue and general lack of transparency. But Jörg is having none of it.

    Making RZA burgers again. The one I made last night I used a veggie burger patty (Morning Star brand), slapped on a slice of cheddar, then stacked it with tomato, pickle, sauteed onion, fried egg, and a dab of sambal oelek. Used Eggo buttermilk waffles in lieu of buns.

    I didn't watch the whole Mueller testimony, but I did catch some of the highlights. It proved just how petulant, irrational, and cult-like the GOP have become. One of them accused Democrats of conspiring with Russia. I mean, seriously? That's the best you can do? Using their same "WHAT ABOUT HILLARY" and "NO U" tactics for the last two and a half years. Pathetic.

    Decided to give Nightmare Reaper a go last night. P cool so far. New trailer just came out for Wolfenstein: Youngblood less than an hour ago. But I'm not gonna pre-order games anymore. I'll see what the reviews are like first once it's out. These days I gravitate primarily towards old school and indies. I've become increasingly wary of the AAA sector this year, because of greedy execs and investors, as well as the Epic Games Store. Not too keen on Google Stadia either.

    Just finished the original System Shock. (Nightdive Enhanced Edition) It's the first time I've done so in 24 years. I think I'll get back into SS2 soon as well, as Aug 11 will be its 20th anniversary. Plus there are at least two confirmed upcoming additions to the franchise - one being the Nightdive Studios remake next year, and the official SS3 on Unity engine, by the original Looking Glass Studios executive producer, Warren Spector - also involved in creating the original Deus Ex.
