  1. I called Barr. He'll look into it. Very suspicious indeed! Someone was trying to hide all the evidence!
  2. The irony is that there isn't much that the mooch needs to know. His combination of hubris/nothing is everything you need to know about the Donald. The mooch is a perfect representation of that. And the bonus is you can see him bend over backways to defend his nonsense. It's fun and telling about the people donnie likes to surround himself with.
  3. Wasn't aware! Kind of curious about that email, tbh. Similar to watching a car accident. It's bad to look at. But that's the beauty of it. ?
  4. Guessing Joyrex sold his tapes when migrating watmm to the new server. (I don't know, but it's kinda charming to see people making an issue out of this)
  5. Couldn't read the article because of paywall. But apparently it's those records from the banks which accelerated the dems forward to formal impeachment.
  6. I take that as before oct 31st. Regardless of the thing actually happening ?
  7. You should check out his two albums on Rephlex. Some dnb in there as well. He might sell them digitally on his bandcamp. Not sure.
  8. Been a while I listened to it, but Exidy Tours didn't specifically rang dnb-bells with me. Thought it was more varied than that. Think the more general IDM label would fit better. But yeah, it's his only album with that kind of sound, if my memory is correct. Perhaps some odd track here and there which would fit. But not an entire album. He does have some unusual channels to release his work. So there might be one out there on some obscure label I didn't know. Although, Cro Magnox might do the trick. Haven't listened to it much, so not sure. (not as much as exidy tours) https://www.discogs.com/Ceephax-Cro-Magnox/master/538646
  9. As an album, I'd go for Exidy Tours. But it's a bit standout to his other work, imo. For me his tracks tend to work better individually. So it makes more sense to pick individual tracks from his releases. It's food for DJ's, if you will. But his Exidy Tours album is the exception. That works best as an album. And a good one at that. I don't have that with his other albums, tbh. As he's mostly sticking to acid tunes nowadays. Making an entire acid-album is an artform. Can't remember many that actually were interesting the entire way through. (Plastikman - Musik comes to mind...)
  10. Biden has that crazy uncle thing going. Saying things in a different way than intended. He usually gets away with it like here, calling white kids instead of rich kids. His supporters will generally see no evil in it. Ironically, the same could be argued about Trump and his supporters. Although, to be fair, this is about as far as I'll push this false equivalence. There are different kinds of crazy uncles. Some are more benign. While others can be more malign.
  11. I don't think that's a fair assessment of American culture (saying this as a European, btw). That "great replacement" theory came from a French writer, for instance. And just like in the US, nationalism - or white nationalism if you will - is very much part of the European dialogue as well. See the Brexit discussion. Keeping foreigners out of the UK played a large part. O, and btw, Norway had it's Breivik in 2012. And New-Zealand earlier this year. Are Norways culture and New Zealands culture also to blame? Of course, the US is responsible to stop its domestic terrorism. But I don't think the solution is a cultural one. And goes beyond 2nd amendment issues, for instance. To put this problem on the shoulders of the US or its culture seems product of a misunderstanding of the problem, as far as I'm concerned. Also, part of US culture used to be pragmatism and ambition. The US put men on the moon, remember? Currently, there's more a political problem which keeps the US from going forward. But now that Trump is in office, the population seems to have woken up and have become more politically involved. Things might actually move forward this time around. People should stalk their governors and senators for a bit.
  12. Geez, he voiced his opinion. Just let it rest already. No need to go into the group identity politics nonsense. We're a bunch of bickering assholes. Don't even think the "politically correct" win means anything. It just sidesteps the fact we're a bunch of assholes. A politically correct asshole, is still an asshole. I'd argue worse even. Because there's an inherent justification to act like an asshole.
  13. i did a copy paste. and then did the paste as plain text thingy. if you post a link and nothing happens, do the plain text thing.
  14. FLOL @ DPRK news
  15. at least it could help some other youngster getting stuff released on some label: don't expect to be treated like a royalty snowflake.
  16. How did I miss this thread... I guess that's one "no more mister nice guy". Reminds me of my younger self when the girls didn't respond back. Yeah, it's frustrating. Deal with it.
  17. How about rephrasing your question to: will gun control have a positive impact on this problem? Instead of "solve". This way, you'll have an obvious yes. It's not going to be negative. And yes, there will be some positive impact. You may question how big. But in the end, it's just silly to "solve" it with one single change in the laws. Or one specific policy. Doesn't work like that, does it? But that shouldn't stop you from doing something. As part of a package.
  18. don't start getting silly ideas in your head, mr. darrform. only makes things too complicated.
  19. interesting. where can i find ambergonks post? can't seem to find it. different thread? sounds like an EQ related thing. the stuff you can't really train behind a computer screen.
  20. Interesting piece in NYT on 8chan. Interview with its founder (who isn't currently involved anymore). https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/04/technology/8chan-shooting-manifesto.html?action=click&module=Spotlight&pgtype=Homepage&login=email&auth=login-email
  21. not sure why you consider this a defence of him, btw. if i say Trump has an above average IQ, does that mean I defend him? merely making an observation. that text shows all the signs of above average iq: well formed sentences, the vocabulary, fairly cohesive reasoning. i'm not saying he's a genius or anything. but to say he's an idiot (or "clearly low iq") misses the mark on what you can expect from low-iq. And more importantly, misses the wider problem of a significant part of the population generally sharing these ideas. Putting this text in the low iq box is about as smart as HRC standing on a stage talking about the "deplorables".
