  1. was thinking about zombies. they walk slow, right?
  2. Look at the EDM in the what people who love Trump love list Also, guacamole is safe space. Lets rejoice in guacamole
  3. that's an odd argument. not sure if i need to respond. if devos screws up, it's a problem no matter what trump tweets. what trump tweets is irrelevant. he may not take responsibility (he prolly wont...). but he its not up to him to make those kinds of decisions. he's allowed to have an opinion. but who cares. nixon had an opinion about something watergate. and see what happened to him.
  4. havent followed the details (or followed the link), but if pences vote was necessary for devoss' approval, the positive is that if she screws up, the administration could actually be held responsible for not only proposing but also approving devos. this might be political gibberish for some of you, but essentially this is all about shifting the burden of responsibility towards the administration.
  5. Doesnt matter, imo. List is random, so you might as well put the list on shuffle. A better idea would be to use the playlists rdj created. Puts tracks in context.
  6. 14 scenarios of what the trump presidency will look like: https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/14-versions-of-trumps-presidency-from-maga-to-impeachment/ There's something for everyone in there
  7. lol def one of those "cant unsee" things. if her political career is over, she'd be a great addition to beavis and butthead.
  8. few positives: - nikki's first performance in UN focussing on russian behavior in ukraine. think she did a good job in her first speech. more importantly sounds like someone making sense again. almost refreshing. was wondering if that was still possible. - also pointing a critical finger towards israel and it ongoing expanding of its settlements was a positive apart from that...well, the silver lining might be that people will have a better understanding how important it is to have a good functioning government making/implementing well thought-out laws/policies (if not, than (international) chaos). and that running a democracy is fundamentally different to running a company (a democracy can not be run unilateral like a company).
  9. well known ae track, bit still very much underrated if you ask me
  10. there's an important difference between seeing some genuine aspects of peoples personalities and rightly assessing those aspects from peoples online behaviour. the term "trolling" comes to mind. don't think many online trolls behave like that in real life. contrary is more likely, id say. and often it's hard to tell what's genuine. online bullshit is rampant, imo. which might signal some genuine aspects of people, but i'd assume most of it is between the lines and interpreted over time. talking in general. not specifically fb, btw. which i ignore as much as possible, tbh. as fb is mostly about what people want you to see about them. that's as interesting as going to the local disco on a saturday night. ;-)
  11. FB is bubblemetropolis. you basically see what the bubble-algortihm thinks you'll like, in addition to the people close to you. i'm surprised people even use fb as a newssource (not implying you do, btw). or in other words: if you like alternative realities, you can check into FB.
  12. Lol Its his first post on this page. Please give him some slack. I mean jazz. ... euh no slack...jazzhands!?
  13. the point is understanding. you dont have to agree with someone to understand him/her. im sure there's some stuff hidden in your ideals which says something about happily coexisting with people who have different ideas. if not, than you might be just as fundamentalist as those fundamentalists you consider polar opposite.
  14. Wow... Wonder how long he can manage to go on like this
  15. That's how effective Trump is! Instant results!! wooooot #DrainTheGovernment
  16. dont think pence would be more dangerous. even though his ideas are way more cons than trumps. pence is predictable, prolly to the point of being boring. i dont see him going into twitter rages. he prolly has a good understanding of how politics works. and most of all, prolly has a better understanding of the constitution. pence acts from a certain core of beliefs, or ideologies if yuo will. trump is completely agnostic as long as he gets the deal he likes. or worse, thinks he likes. the thing which scares me most about trump is that he seems to act on his intuitions. and leaves the deep thinking to others. pence is a complete diff story. edit: also, pence doesnt have the mandate or the support trump brought to the table. pence doesnt seem to have much political power behind him...to my eyes at least. with pence in the white house without trump, it's basically paul ryan in charge, imo
  17. I think he does have a point though. It's a sweeping statement, yes. But for a good reason, from his point of view. Point being that he doesn't see an answer to current political developments coming from the left. Or even an effective self-assessment. He makes his point better here, imo. (essence: from 13.00 on) I wonder how a Canada fits into his views, btw. Seems like it needs to be an outlier proving the norm, from his point of view. And here I'd "gently" disagree with him, btw.

ironically, the track vasio posted was the only one i liked as well... :S good track! ;D
  19. To be fair though, we still don't know the true impact of a trump presidency. Things can work out better than expected, or far worse. Or it'll just be a continuation of whatever you think was already happening. It'll take years to be able to make a real assessment. Until then... well I'm afraid to just accept the new reality of a Trump in the Whitehouse. (And he might not be the last!.... o dear... the prospect of another trump in the wh in the future....)
  20. thanks fr the tip! def a good album! sidenote: sometimes you hear a tune and think "where have I heard this before?" next track seemed very similar to a quench track that's more than 10 yrs older. these tracks should mix well, i presume ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Vgd8pu2xRM
  21. seems like the head/hand ratio is quite accurate in these "faithful to reality" comics of trump & hobbes
  22. lol 8 chars in both cases...so relatively easily hacked, no matter how random the sequence. if you know the length of the passwrd, you're already halfway.. ;)
