    wow! the music is SO important. that works very well.

    i think they tried to throw too much into this and it didn't really hang together (ever changing properties of the black goo and alien references). ignoring the plot loops there is a huge problem with the early character development which resulted in the evil android being the best character mainly because he was the most well rounded one. it would have been nice to have more meat to the character motivation throughout (apart from Charlize's daddy complex).

    Is he gonna ask you out or what. He's been doing this for ages now. Then again, this is just one of those office things isn't it, people that have their thing, wot they do. His is doughnuts. lol! he's just the donut guy. showing me love through donuts. it's far less awkward than getting asked out by the other office bods (a regular thing).

    Captain Phillips 5/10 this film promised a lot more than it delivered, mainly due to the emotional impact being weakened by complete lack of character development.
