  1. if you could have been alive in any other time in history, which would you pick and why?
  2. i'm missing a friend's event to go to see Machindrum on Friday. he'd better be good.
  3. It depends on how good his Obel's photoshopping skills are. If he makes the brown the wrong shade it could be misconstrued as scat. oh my fucking lol perhaps with sean in the background laughing, and a speech bubble saying "I WIN"
  4. nice article find Rubin. i really can't imagine what this is going to be like, it will surely be a very surreal sci-fi and hopefully Michel's style will work with rather than against it. i've always thought of his work as being quite surreal and whimsical and i'm not sure how this will work with what's been described as a "deeply unsettling existential horror story". only one way to find out i guess. i see they mention Vincenzo Natali's Neuromancer. lol! he will not make this film. i'm afraid to say that if Prometheus is anything to go by BR2 will be disappointing.
  5. it's a lolly, i think they messed up the speed while making the gif.
  6. The Perks of Being a Wallflower 7/10 the acting in this was too clumsy to be completely emersive, generally a fun coming of age drama The Girlfriend Experience 7/10 the lead character in this was not nearly entertaining enough, in fact i thought they were pretty dull. Carnage 8/10 this is an adaptation of a play i went to see a few years ago with Ralph Fiennes in. i prefer the stage version, Ralph was brilliant.
  7. in got bopped by a mini cab in the cycle lane last night and got all my cycle lights broken
  8. I recommend Dance Dance Dance. It's the sequel to A Wild Sheep Chase but you can begin wherever you want. The wind up bird chronicle is a great murakami.
  9. Kill List 8/10 the beginning of this was really promising and had some very vivid dialogue and action (some maybe a bit too vivid and graphic TBH). however the catalyst for the climax was underwritten and this caused the climax to lack weight. the twist was also a bit predictable. still very good for a horror film (or psychological thriller whatever you want to call it)
  10. i've been lent this to read, i'm still reading Nietzsche though
