    i've read it a while ago, one of the best comics i've read in 2011. which one do you prefer? blankets or Habibi? this is the first book of his I've read. Is his earlier work supposed to be this good?

    I'm about two-thirds through Craig Thompson's Habibi. It's fuckinglush: Also just started reading Lucifer. Mike Carey is the best writer in mainstream comics.

    A handful of decent, suspenseful scenes bookended by utter shit. This ep pretty much sums up the entire series.

    I thought True Detective was pretty good too. I normally avoid gritty detective shit like Low Winter Sun and The Killing, but I think TD has potential.
