how do you like the D50? ever try one of these - ive been tempted by the combination of the two for a few years (D50 or 550 as synth + pg1000 controller), but im torn between the idea of getting something like this and just nabbing a cheap JD800 instead Bought it over year ago because of good deal on local market (smth like 300$), used it in one track then forgot about it because of new additions to studio. But two weeks ago connected and started to discover it again, fixed volume fader today by resoldering it (one channel hadn't work). Not used pg1000 as they are pricey, edited it via MidiQuestXL and I think thats a good solution, u can map any parameter to a midi controller but I haven't tried it yet so dunno how fast response is. I like how it sounds but programming is a bit esoteric for me atm so it's on level of editing patches that I liked.

101 rainbows ambient mix without the ambient mix :) i really dig it too. reminds me of the early ambient stuff that's super evident on disc 1 26 mixes :) (Not mine, thanks to whoever made that originally at the time of the Caustic Window Kickstarter!) Ha - he just used this as the coverart for 5 Scorrier (7 Dub Cliker got some coverart as well) so....post a fun pics here so Richard could use it for tracks! Ha, I made that. Was very pleased to see as a cover today

Thanks! quadraverbs are great for me partly because of early warp stuff where they were used heavily and their hall reverb is really spacey. For example those 2 tracks are nothing more than a matrix1000 into a quadraverb: got them really cheap and having 2 of them is nice because of 2 synths can go directly to a mixer without using limited amount of outputs from a audiointerface. that picture is trippy, the chair and furniture itself looks small, but the stuff on the desk and the keyboards look even smaller, until i realize they are a d50 and some 19" rack gear. love it. what is the gearlist in those rack pieces? are those d110's? and? That's the perspective of 18mm lens :) Gear list: Yamaha DX11, Roland D50 keyboards, rack: nord micromodular, presonus firestudio audiointerface, 2x alesis quadraverb, studio electronics atc-1 with oberheim SEM filter (VCO monosynth), oberheim matrix 1000 (DCO 6-voice polysynth), amplifier.
