    oh i agree.. it's a brutal sucker punch. that dude was not getting up w/o help and when those 2 dudes pick him up they are basically dragging him. dropping like a dead weight like that and head crashing into the asphalt is awfully dangerous. head/neck injury. all kinds of bad things can happen. it sucks that people don't know how to act. fights and skirmishes and sucker punches.. all that shit inspires retaliation. there's always some opportunist who is capable of doing dirt and sucker punching or worse. this is one of those "fuck around and find out" scenarios. it's just straight up dumb to go out there and push people around and not expect some asshole to practice "unsportsman like conduct". when i say "had it coming" it's just the obvious result. so maybe the wrong phrase. but he earned it i guess.

    i tend to assume if one company is doing it then they all are and it's worse than we know. but then i wonder for a while "what does it mean?" and eventually i forget about it and move on unless there's something simple i can do to moderate any potential harm

    "the bigger the lie the more they believe." seriously though.. people ar eprimed for conspiracy and it's not a big leap to think the election is massively fraudulent especially when their cult leader is saying it is.

    i know people who don't know where photos go when they download/save from emails. "i downloaded it but i have no idea where it went" usually it's an older person on a windows machine. but plenty of people have limited idea of how a computer functions, why it's behaving slow etc when they have like 50 browser tabs open or downloaded a bunch malware games etc. they often interpret the computer behaving slow as "it's time to get a new computer". i find that usually the outrage over some computer privacy issue is overblown, then more understood as a more benign if a bit creepy OS thing.. but sometimes the outrage is justified.. it's just a matter of figuring out when the sky is falling and when it isn't. linux works for some things and there are more apps and plug ins that support it. the most common thing i read about is not being able to get driver support for audio/midi interfaces and needing some serious troubleshooting chops to figure that out. bitwig, reaper (i think), u-he, audio damage offer linux versions of their software. i'm sure there's more linux specific stuff but i'm uninformed about it.

    what he says to his followers and what happens in private are very different things according to the media. apparently the people around him are telling him his chances of success via the courts is very unlikely. so, he knows he's not got a chance but being a blowhard douchebag is more important to him than telling the truth. he'll never concede.

    i'm sure the maga march will be a super spreader event. it's unlikely that a lot of people didn't get infected or were not already infected and went there and spread the COVID.. then they'll go home to wherever and get others infected.. rinse repeat. hospitals are maxing capacity everywhere.
