    this will disproportionally effect rural areas as well. he's trying to penalize amazon as well because of the washington post/bezos. so if he can get USPS to raise its prices it'll cost amazon more money to ship things.. even though they have fulfillment centers everywhere and use UPS and their own drivers/contractors a lot. trump again missing the point of things.. and ignorant of the big picture. he's going to further penalize his own base.

    was reading about this earlier. pretty crazy. super small percentage of overall deaths but still. it's pretty weird based on the doctors descriptions. no symptoms but going to the hospital because of a stroke. finding blood clot in the brain.. doing the procedure to break up the clot while other clots form around the existing clot and person has a massive stroke. per the MD that's "weird". i guess the immune system runaway inflammation scenario could be part of it but w/o all the other symptoms it seems bewildering to sort out to a layperson like me. but if the MD is saying it's pretty weird then i hope they can figure out how to study it and get to the bottom of this. virus is a weird one.

    gotta keep that scurvy in check. as for apples i'm a Fuji lover. though i quit buying apples a year or so ago. mostly doing bananas, berries in smoothies.

    it's beyond that. it's been happening for years and is really blooming under trump. but it's been a battle for along time.. from text books being full of bad information or religious type nonsense in some states to the GOP's long long battle to destroy the public school system in america. USA school system used to be really good but starting in the 70s was a focal point for GOP efforts to defund/destroy/privatize. california used to have one of the best public school systems in the entire world. USA politics has largely been emotional rather than intellectual, to make some generalizations of category, and this filters into everything in american culture and effects funding/defunding of huge programs etc. so much is based on image and appearance rather than actual factual information. it's a sad dangerous trend and we're deep in to a couple generations of destroyed educational opportunities for lot's of people here.
