  1. column thirteen sounds pretty nice pitched down 46:58
  2. Yes, there are a couple of AE tracks that made also me think about jazz brushes
  3. what's wrong? read more carefully, I didn't say anything negative
  4. You joined a cult? What kind of cult was that if you don't mind explaining, sounds like an interesting story. Of course you don't have to say anything, but I'm curiousNot a 'real' cult, but kinda. I don't know if you ever heard about 'transcendential traditionalism' - is based on some books back from the 40s and 50s, written by these guys René Guénon and Julius Evola and that kind of stuff. So there was this little group of traditonalists and I got into it, found it interesting and so on.And this Guénon guy had this theory that the world is getting far from a desired state of Tradition, and blamed renaissance for it. (Now it sounds ridicolous for me, but then I digged it.) So to be consequent we tried to abbandon a lot of stuff that represented the "modern spirit" - inculding art, so music also. I didn't really joined the group hereafter, was always more individual, but it took time for me to shook off the impact. Hmm, okay. Weird what ideas can do

  6. Really? oh yeah, this hasn't been established, has it i kind of assumed they were performed like AE_LIVE because it's called "sessions" which basically always means performance in this context i feel like s&b would want to do it that way i think it's pretty safe to say it wasn't. consider how quickly all of it went online after transmissions with tracklists n all, also how obviously planned, conceived and edited as fuk lots of it is. i'd buy that quite some tracks were jammed at their studio (casuals) tho. according to aaa peel sessions were done in their studio, too, so yeah... who really cares tho. of course not all the work is done live, neither in AE_LIVE nor in the NTS Sessions. They surely have the basic architecture of their tracks done and then fiddle with the parameters to create something unique live
  7. I wonder how a collab with Venetian Snares would sound like today. 7/4 drum madness combined with NTS sounds would be alright
