I don't get why people kick off when something is stupidly popular so a server crashes. Happens every year when folk can't get Glastonbury tickets not realising that thousands around the world are attempting it.

I will never understand your appreciation of Trash Humpers. Chuck on Basket Case 3, I say without irony that's a strong trilogy.

What's so different about it now?

Been enjoying Mark Kermode's Secrets of Cinema despite realising that for the last five years I've not really watched anything except for cheesy horror films.

I would go with Pet Sematary for King and The Long Walk from Bachman, if you aren't into those he probably isn't for you.

Thanks mate. I read it maybe 15 years ago, then listened to the audiobook a few years later when I was on the dole and chose to waste my days walking in random directions. This time I will go further in the series, I'm such a King fan so feel like an imposter for not tackling this yet. Is it like A Song of Ice and Fire? The last two of those were a slog.

Found a cool edition of The Gunslinger from King's Dark Tower series and have learnt he then revised it later. Will the later books not make any sense, should I care?

I was reading it in the work staff room and probably looked mental trying to prevent the howling. I wish I had the same way with words as the policemen.

Ordered me The Book of the New Sun, need to get in on this ever since Zaphod's recommendation. In the meantime I've finally got round to The Third Policeman, kindly sent by hello spiral in the secret santa. The bit with the boxes in the box was ridiculously funny.

My collection is big and I've probably only played half of them. I enjoy Boss Monster, Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space, Forbidden Island, X-Wing, Elder Sign, Betrayal at the House on the Hill and King of Tokyo. I realise a list isn't a very interesting read but I mainly play them with my girlfriend who gets bored of others quickly so any of those are worth a punt. Quick to pick up the rules and fun to play.

Eugene moaning about people dropping stuff and being a bit clumsy, like he has never done the same. Show us a film of a day in the life of you where you don't trip on anything or clatter a plate or whatever. Bullshit.

That was actually kinda funny, maybe the first time he's shown he has a bit of a sense of humour despite the context.
