The Matrix made a big deal about it at the time, so just wanted to point out this observation as I continue surfing for tracks. But yeah be interesting now to hear or see where the origin of this film technique came from, it seems very art/film school, around the 70's maybe when the money started rolling in i guess, if anybody knows what came before MBM drop it in this thread.
  2. They gonna get political next, the new album is going to be called...... World pls....
  3. DJ In-sight Fore-sight More-sight The Clock On The Wall Is A Quarter Past Midnight
  4. Hmmm, I've been on a Prodigy tip recently, but yeah, around 10:59 onwards here, it reminded me of something.... if you can hear it then you can hear it, but, hmmmmmmm.... nothing wrong with it, but still... hmmmm....:
  5. Ok, this here was very meh. But I can see them adding this into their liveset, into "Under The Influence" or better yet: "Dust Up Beats", its doable.... Hmmmm.....

New conspiracy theory, so, shhhhhhh ? ........ before The Matrix (which came out in '99), there was..... MEAT BEAT MANIFESTO (Helter Skelter '97)...... HMMMMMmmmmmm ? ? : https://www.instagram.com/p/CrZ_WpXJVxa/
  7. Hmm yeah, had a listen to the full track on youtube... hmmmmm, just like Dirty Rat by Orbital, it does still sound like half a track still, you'd think the track would build with higher synths or variation or something. Anyway, looking forward to Everything Everything 2 then. What's here anyway did remind me of a Underworld gig I ripped to CD when I was a teen, and listened to death!, dude I'd shove "Colour Red" in here anywhere, but anyway, damn this set was so good!:
  8. Dude you need to shut your "Dirty" damn "Big Mouth" ? Hell yeah, and his Aquarius shit seriously:
  9. Yeah yeah, what I was trying to mean, this and last year, there's been a new Leftfield, which sounded good actually, and new Chemical Brothers soon hopefully, a new FSOL, every six months, but whatever, but a new Underworld though!, if the Prodigy announce something, no pressure, and Photek, but then, it's the damn 90's all over again, along with Orbital and The Orb, there's been some damn good bangers recently honestly, and speaking of which, just heard the live version of "And The Colour Red"..... honestly, probably their best track in a long while:
  10. Here ya go, a new Underworld thing, out this year by the sounds of it! Damn, Prodigy, Liam now it's your turn (though your circumstance is more understandable obviously..... ahhhhh, RIP Keef!) But yeah, sounds good, dark 'n' deep, very Beaucoup Fish of them here, maybe earlier abit even, anyway looking forward!
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFo8KpFLoGU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_ycFj_hHvI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GqMhZddFbE Yeah, I was more of a fan of their "Big Beat" era as well, then they got psychedelic, but they still produced some good stuff (Star Guitar, Sunshine, Surface To Air etc), the last evolution was definitely "Further", when they got more epic, 10+ minute bangers I think they are more than capable of doing at this point, but the last couple albums didn't quite further that. Still, I'm hoping Chem10 is a double cd epic..... shall see then soon.
  12. Here's some inspiration, if social media is getting to you, wull!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I_28QrT8Ro
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jm_WdaHBdlg https://thechemicalbrothers.lnk.to/NoReasonID https://store.thechemicalbrothers.com/*/No-Reason-Vinyl/No-Reason-12/7RJL1ZVN000 Vinyl out April 28, b-side is another new one called "All Of A Sudden" Wasn't a fan of "The Darkness That You Fear", too much focus on the vocal samples I felt, the musical parts are cool but I felt they kept swapping elements in and out abit too much, if that makes sense? Even on the extended version. But digging "No Reason" here though, sounds more together for what it is. Chem10 is sounding promising!
  14. Selected Noise looks more like a compilation with some archive stuff, Tape Stash is more interesting to me. They both seem like two planned releases that were shelved and Jack decided to release them together now, but... the kidney stone tho.... MAN, like COME ON, worth a million in 20 years, right?... yaknowaddaimean????????..... "WOOO ALRIGHT!!!!"... get it? radio babylon haha... guys?...... ok nevermind...
  15. Did I read it right that 10.c.1 on Selected Noise is 53 minutes long???!!!!!!!!!!! The Modulisme Sessions btw, they have a bandcamp page, and Jack had offered a few tracks to the series already in the past (that are free to download if you wish), before his session (I'm guessing is what's included here) Whether any of this will be on the upcoming MBM album, guess we'll see: Critical Completion Astatic Wave Cloud
  16. As long as it's not "heaven is a place on earth" again, then fine, oh no..... it does have a similar tempo.... oh gud' nah SHUDD'UP :)
  17. I will say one other other thing about Dirty Rat anyway, and I think most of us are also thinking the same thing, that vid so far, it does feel like one half of a song... so now, looking forward to the next album also, but.... I'm also looking forward to the next Orbital Live thing: "Glastonbury 2024-2034" where we get that 11+ minute rendition of Dirty Rat, where the last half is mostly breakbeat, Underworld-esque, pumping thing, or Underworld themselves can remix the track 'emselves, wateva SHUDD'UP! vv O
  18. This is a joke release more or less, why it's here y'kno... but, anybody familiar with Dudesy, and knows all d'noes 'dat are involved.. and also bloody "Space Invaders" 'n bl'uddy "Nintendos" 'n.... so, basically, those who know, kn'ooooos, 'awrite? 19. OI! @purlieu aka RU'SS!! SHUDD-UP!! YA DON'T KNO' WAD'YA ON A'BOOU, YA DIRTY RATT vvvvvvvvvv O But nah seriously, this new single, "Dirty Rat" brings me back to the "Middle Of Nowhere" Era, and that music video, would fit straight into late 90's television, aka MTV AMP. Meaning, the Hartnoll brothers have captured that spirit again, with "Dirty Rat" anyway. But for now, what I'm currently hearing so far, good on ya lads!
