    Yeah the music for the trailers sucks but the OST does not, go check it out on youtube. Wasn't that keen on Jed Kurzel but It sounds like he's done an amazing job for Alien Covenant. Also watched the 10min leaked clip and the music sounds pretty fucking cool! really weird and eerie, mild aphex vibes. Yeah, this definitely sounds a lot better than the Prometheus soundtrack. Prometheus sounded like a rejected draft for LOTR or some other fantasy film.

    Oh shit, so you didn't get to the point where where Vickers says, "No......... father!" which is where everyone is supposed to go "Oh shit!!". It's the best. That twist or whatever you want to call it falls so flat that you're left wondering if you missed something. It's amazing that here 5 years later I still find myself confused and utterly baffled by that movie.

    Ask what the budget is to find out if they know what they're doing and asking for. Also ask what their plans are for the film. and who is the music director person.. music supervisor i think it's called w/film. ask for $50k ;) seriously.. i have no idea.. but if you ask other musicians who do sound for film on twitter you'll get some kind person to respond. i know SiBegg does a lot of sound for film/tv and there are a lot of people in the industry dealing w/the music side of things who are active on social media Yeah, but before even doing any of that you need to find out what's up with the film and the crew because a lot of people who contact musicians about this sort don't know what they're getting themselves into. Most of the time they'll tell you "oh, but it's good exposure" or "we were kinda hoping you'd do it for $500". Fuck that. Are they asking for your music for a scene or for the movie entire film?
