  1. Was it Whitney Houston? yes Another case solved by the fabulous ghostbusters.
  2. You gotta be in it before you can win it. Also no more American leadership for a while please. Be good global citizens/neighbours, contribute positively.
  3. Oh that's right. Yeah I think he will be quite decent, I don't expect so much from him this season. It's just his blooding into the prem. We desperately needed someone physically capable back there, no more of Blind getting manhandled by the likes of Gomis.
  4. Yes wages, obviously re: Vardy. A little surprising to see Mourinho sign such a young CB, he must be really impressed with him. I've not seen much of him, the odd match highlights here and there. Wonder if he was injured in their EL match vs the scouse. We all wonder who Mourinho is going to let go - I really hope he keeps Mata now that Valencia is fit again. I can't see him keeping Fellaini to be honest - especially if we sign Zlatan. Xhaka will be a wonderful signing for Arsenal, and agree, Wenger should spend a bunch and get a honest to goodness great striker.
  5. Think Vardy is just driving up the price. That's why he's waiting until after euros to settle. Could backfire spectacularly though. Koeman is going to Everton. If we get Ibra we're not going after benteke or Kane.
  6. transfer market going off - and I'm just talking about the prem, never mind other leagues in Europe. Auba to City? Apparently we signed Bailly from Villareal - an honest to goodness CB to pair with Smalling! West Ham getting Feghouli on a free?
  7. Exactly. Replace with Thatcher for those "across the pond". And for anyone who cares: Republicans would gut Dodd-Frank and the Volcker rule http://www.wsj.com/articles/gops-jeb-hensarling-takes-aim-at-dodd-frank-volcker-rule-1464977161 (google the title and click through from there if the paywall blocks this link)
  8. Wealth has been the new religion since the 80s. Remember Gordon "greed is good" Gekko? The 80s is when a whole bunch of bad juju started happening with regards to financial markets.
  9. X-Men Apocalypse. Pretty decent for a fun movie. Apocalypse himself was a little bit of a letdown physically, but otherwise good.
  10. haha, the right way to deal with sovereign citizens. what an insufferable douche.Almost leld in the office. Top stuff. "I do not wish to enjoin with you". Fuck off.
  11. Trump probably figures it's worked out so far for him, why bother now. Lol.
  12. That's true, he's gone 16-14-16 for his last three seasons, mostly because Arsenal doesn't cross much, which they should with Giroud as the focal point, he's very good in the air. Also I don't see Vardy scoring 20 in an Arsenal system. Leicester was geared for him, Arsenal surely won't be. I just don't see the value in it for Arsenal. For other sides maybe, but not for Arsenal.
  13. Giroud has scored 20 goals for arsenal in his last 3 seasons. I just think Vardy is a waste of salary space and as you mentioned he doesn't fit into arsenals style of play. I think he's an extremely limited striker, and when teams play deep defensively against him he's next to useless. Arsenal already has Walcott, why add another. As for Ibra to United, I'm trying to hold off on losing more until it's official. God the Fellaini/Ibra double elbow attack would be lethal though.
  14. Arsenal activate Vardys release clause? I don't understand this signing at all. Doesn't make any sense to me from Arsenals pov.
  15. Ricardo Rodriguez to Arsenal rumours floating around. Update: apparently release clause has been activated. 20 million quid.
  16. Lol his tweets have gone protected. What a knob.
  17. She does not go off script. lol She also blinks a lot. Probably a lizard person.
  18. He scored plenty in Serie A, hardly a league full of pussycat defenders.
  19. Looks like Mourinho is confirmed. I don't know how to feel about this. He's a cunt, but now he's our cunt? I just don't like his systems, and desperately fear what he will do to the youth development (yes I know he's played some young players, but he generally prefers more experienced players). Does this mean another season of rebuilding to fit Mourinho's style? The one real positive is that it increases the likelihood of Zlatan coming. Even at 34, he'd be a great addition to the side for a season or 2. Obviously that's not done and dusted, but there's no denying the affinity the big man has for Mourinho.
  20. Just started watching this, first two episodes were good stuff, thanks for the tip!
