  1. finished off season 2 of Hannibal - a little disappointed actually - the reappearance of Abigail was pretty easily foretold by the reappearance of Miriam Lass. Yeah he slashes everyone up, but Will and Jack probably could survive, and Alanna definitely. Also, I was led to believe that EMT response times to rich neighbourhoods were fast...especially if an FBI employee calls it in? lol Anyways, I'm really starting to enjoy the surreal, supernatural drama in it. The omnipotence of Hannibal doesn't bother me anymore, and the food is making me really hungry. The ortolan? I want. If i win the lottery, WATMM dinner party.
  2. Mad Max: 126 minutes of a man named Max (played by Russell Crowe) being on hold after discovering an error by the IRS has caused him to overpay his taxes by $53.48. After the first ten minutes, he becomes increasingly angry.
  3. http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2014/06/ultra-rich-asian-girls-vancouver-latest-reality-show/ This ultra gauche shit. Worse is I know one of the girls on the audition clip, not well or anything but still
  4. Episode 1 of season 2 for Hannibal was great. That is some fucked up shit. Can't wait to power through the rest of that season next week. Sucks that house of cards isn't back until next year.
  5. I enjoyed the final two seasons of xfiles for what they were. Yes disappointing compared to what had come before, but still very enjoyable tv.
  6. Trudge through season 1. Season 2 is far superior. For what they get away with on that show during season 2, I applaud NBC for sticking with it. Watched about 7 episodes yesterday of season 1. Not bad - a little formulaic, and some things really don't work (like the totem pole of dead people being lifted by one dude, or the fight between hannibal and the cellist) but I'll stick with it.. The formulaic nature, assclown forensic team, etc was why I was going to abandon the show. But, season 2 is much less so. Kinda starts that way, but morphs into something much better & tighter. You still have to suspend dis-belief at Hannibal's pure omnipotents & being pretty much an expert at everything. But, I guess he wouldn't be Hannibal Lechter if not so. I actually don't mind the forensic team, solely because of Scott Thompson (as i love Kids in the Hall). Watched up to the end of season 1 - have to say I was impressed with the season finale. The sound design in it was awesome. Also, I didn't know that David Slade (director of said season finale, and also of season 2 finale) directed the video for Donkey Rhubarb. So really, Hannibal has a direct connection to this site :) Anyways, can't wait to immerse myself in Season 2 next week.

  8. Checking out Hannibal now. First episode was alright for a show that aired on NBC. Though the reporter chick is highly annoying and really takes me out of the show.
  9. the insightful commentary on levels you mean?
  10. i just read through the "forever alone dude kills 7 people" thread.
  11. I'm failing to see what the problem here is. I mean eerybody wins here right?
  12. I'm happy you're back :) hehe thanks m8, I was having WATMM withdrawals on some days. I was able to pop by on wifi but internet in Peru is godawful slow. Glad to have the amenities of a modern world, but hate getting back to the grind (work, school, life lol) Keep the old ball rolling up-hill lest you have to go get it and start all over. I BELIEVE IN YOU BABY Good question m8. My time there was certainly worthwhile, but at the same time I fear I've lost touch at this point. Can't say it's completely off the table as an option tho. I am currently planning a ton of travel. How well does a 6'2" blue-eyed, muscly white dude do in Tokyo/other cities in terms of bang-ablility with the local Japanese ladies. I am mostly wondering if it's worth it or not, purely based on if their society has one night stands with strange foreigners in commonplace... I like those with travel, thus the reason I stick to Europe. Iceland, Ireland, Portugal, Czech Republic and Hungary are the places I'm going to when I head out in 9 months, I hope to have bastards in all of those countries. Go to Roppongi, you'll do fine. Plenty of Japanese girls go for "one-night love".
  13. Just watched the first episode of House of Cards. Think I'm gonna like it. Anyone watched "Suits"?
  14. Selecting an album in Finder and then pressing command-O to open the album in iTunes results in iTunes only playing the first track, even whilst importing the whole album. As a result I am forced to drag'n'drop into iTunes and then press play. Curses, my day is ruined.
  15. Lol that sounds fucking dire in the context of this thread.
  16. Edward Penishands What's wrong with Gilbert gape
  17. This last line reads like a personals ad.What kinds of personals ads are you reading Mdme Chaqos?
  18. apparently some of the locals also call it Burma as that was the traditional name and they feel that Myanmar is not representative of their culture. It's cool cause they're literally opening the embassy in June. So hopefully I can parlay that plus my korean skills into something worthwhile when (if) Canada establishes relations with NK Anyhow thanks all!!
  19. you're going to live there? Only for 3 or 4 months.
