Got a pair of akg k240s (first pic, in the right) ?
-
^Not shown are my 70s mixer with lush spring reverb, my new Korg sq1 and the neutron I'm receiving today. Now I gotta stop being a gear slut for a while. My excuse was that I'm not or hardly spending any money on going on vacation etc, but yeah..

Bochum Welt - Seafire [Central Processing Unit]
Berk replied to Uros's topic in New & Upcoming Releases
Gotta say I love those new beatless ambient tracks on this release, so serene and lush. Really great production on this as well, very clear and not muddy at all but also warm at the same time And southern England in summer is of course also the shit.- 55 replies

Bochum Welt - Seafire [Central Processing Unit]

Lol xxx totally feeling your struggle with this album. But those 4 new minutes worth of tunes tho. I also love that there's a track called Sentimental. I mean we get it gianluigi, the rest is cold as ice....- 55 replies

thanks for sharing that youtube link, that was good stuff lol also rip to everyone that has passed especially Huckaby was still young, that news sucks. i wasn't too familiar with all his music yet, but everything that i heard from him i always liked, so i should dive in his discography actually

Also sounds like he had loads of fun making these. Lots of hardware centered, single takes maybe? It's like these are top tier acid jams, turning the stuff into serious art.

This series is so addictive. Even when I'm not particularly into the melodies of some tracks I still get hooked listening to all the crazy 303, 101 farts and whatnot in sync with the old school drumcomputers. Phonatacid is crazy good, someone on YouTube described it as a haunted Chicago disco, with all Roland machines playing by themselves, hell yeah. And the fx used, amazing: springs, tape echo, bbd, maybe plate etc. Those 808 and 606 hihats saturating the tape. And all those album covers of old school gear and forests. All very mysterious, beautiful and I get serious GAS and also gas

I think the pads in this one is FM. Definitely worth

Great thread

That MonoPoly looks nice too. Anyone got the Crave, is it any good? Looks like a nice affordable piece of gear

Deadcode is maybe the best thing afx ever made imo

finally did some reading on what all the fuzz is about with this company. gotta say it's a hornet's nest

Finished RDR2 a while ago. Damn what a good game. Up there with Witcher 3. Playing uncharted 4 at the moment. Also really nice. Couldn't really get into the 1,2 and 3 though. Too old and too many puzzles. Like Skyrim has too many boring dungeons. It's like around 2014 game developers really found out how to balance everything out just right.

I saw people are reporting quite a lot of small bugs over at gearslutz etc(also for the 101 clone and maybe some other gear too). I can't be bothered to read through 119 pages but here's hoping the problems are mostly software/firmware related

Heads up for the Dutch watmmers. The 808 clone is up for grabs at baxmusic for 250e
-
these prices are all pretty fucking decent, damn

Airiel already got mentioned few pages back, but this song deserves its own post imo

Also good call on Andres and of course Mr fingers. There's a lot of stuff in this thread I still need to check and I better do it before the links are all dead
