So including Syro, CCAIpt2, MARCH EP, Caustic Window and Syrobonkers I have over 20 Aphex CD's in the car ...... Luckily I have a 3 hour commute each day for work so theres some chance i'll get to listen, absorb and enjoy it all. christ on a bike!

Just a note on the playlists...I've burned them all to CD's for the car and now have 16 new fucking aphex twin albums and an ep! What the fuck is going on!!! WOOHOO!

Gonna be honest... I still need to get fully into drukqs. Live set versions of tracks are amazing - playing the whole album through, less so. I also think Go Plastic is much more complex and satisfying. So sue me :)

I second that completely - it was around this time of year 2 years ago when I first heard it and my second kid was due to be born. It has enormous nostalgic (IRONY alert) appeal for me and I've been really loving the vinyl recently on a warm spring evening. One of my favorite albums of albums of all time with a coherent, aesthetic. Also the promotional effort and twitter folloiwng at the time was truly amazing Heres a vid made at the time

I have a 4 hour journey to see my girlfriend this afternoon and 4 hours back on Sunday... so will be listening to the whole lot on the road (7 CD's ordered by soundlcooud upload time) and getting a feel for styles etc for later segmentation.

How you guys organzing things? I've tagged my tracks in terms of how they fit with releases and alias: Tags are "Caustic", "Polygon", "AFX", "Electro", "HAB", "Ambient", "Analord", "Drukqs", "?" There's lots of The first three above, not much druqks/analord.. but that all fits with the nature of these archive tracks I guess. Its great anyway!!
