  1. I'm very much interested, though I didn't think that Oneohtrix would perform with Ableton. That's a let-down. I was sure he would have some synths and hardware stuff with him while performing. The bundle looks beautiful. But say, why do you have a LP, a CD and a cassette? It's three times the same release, right?
  2. I thought the same thing. This genre is huge... it will take a long time... but full of ecstasy and rave and funk and fun
  3. Thanks alot for all these links. I was born shortly before the 90ies so I missed most of the stuff. It's amazing music.
  4. fuck is this out already? otherwise if the tracks posted here are really future garage, I couldn't care less about that hilariously sounding genre. but i think future garage must be more spacey and innovative.
  5. Intriguing stuff... bringing together his sample manipulation and synth stuff... The bass work is amazing on some tracks. Other tracks are a bit... boring in comparision with the rest, I guess releasing only the very good tracks would have made this record sound stronger after all... but never mind

    making a ARG

For some reason the OsX version of the Adventure Games Studio is not online, I will have to check out the software on a very very old notebook which crashes all the time.

    making a ARG

If you want to make that kind of game, Adventure Game Studio should be your first port of call: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/ It's designed so that artists and writers can produce LucasArts-standard point and click adventures without a ton of programming knowledge. Tons of great games have been made using it. Why on earth haven't you made one yet? Quit your job and get to it. give me money and i'll do so. thanks for the link, i'll check it out.

    making a ARG

I always wanted to create a very complex 2-d adventure with the beautiful look of "Baphomets Fluch" (that's German, no idea how it is called in English...) but a way more clever and non-linear story... if anyone wants to help with programming and stuff, I would sit down and start writing
  9. Here is some news about that Congo stuff: http://consequenceofsound.net/2011/07/damon-albarn-previews-drc-music-project-with-hallo/
  10. Yeah the word composing is actually a bit wrong I guess, but to make things clear, I like this stuff more than the sampling stuff. Although he is really freaking great with sampling.
  11. It looks a bit like the Demdike Stare cover art. Well anyway, very excited, although this might by more similar to his sampling stuff than his actual composing (whatever) stuff, which I adore a lot more.
  12. Yeah. We are fighting for our pure meta-physical survival. Yesterday I was humming the whole day, "I don't know what to do with myself..."
  13. The internet is boring me. Can't decide what should I do next to do nothing. That's a real first world problem, right?
  14. That Parallel World track is a hell of a track...brings everything back I love about this guy!
  15. I want this so bad.... Ghettoville is a very nice title too!
  16. Yeah, I guess so. And being a very shy, uncommunicative person in a very big city with way too strong emotions and thoughts... "If songs were lines in a conversation, the situation would be fine"
  17. Funny thought. I think I would love to give 10 years of (the needed) mental sanity to Syd Barrett. At the chime of the city clock from page one is my favourite tune! Yeah and I once read a biography on Drake and it said there that Drake got antidepressant and they didn't do any good... finally he overdosed on them, if voluntary or by mistake is not known.
  18. exactly actress wanted to release two lps this year... right? any news on them?
  19. mhh the names sound more interesting than the actual music to me
  20. Seeing him perform live at Club Transmediale this Friday was amazing... big fan now.
  21. Very very sweet, easy & light music. Perfect for breakfast / mornings. Wonderful stuff.
  22. is full of dust & dirty beats
