    Writing lyrics that aren't total cringe is the hard part. (making electronic music became really appealing for this reason.) Rest is a piece of piss. (j/k... I'm always battling some production obstacle with almost every new thing I make)

    I think I might have an ice cream problem. It's the only grocery item other than milk and coffee related things that I buy on the regular (twice a week-ish)

    pierogi pizza and butter chicken are two of the oddest pizza trends here... although both are surprisingly good most of the time. Many of the pizza places here are run and staffed by people of Indian descent, which may account for it. Or it could be the infamous naan pizzas from the Mint that started it. Those are delicious af. Butter chicken poutine is also superior to regular poutine. *no idea where the pierogi pizza trend came from. that's just a fucked up idea that works better than it ought to.

    That by itself wouldn't be noteworthy, except then they played La Isla Bonita for a latina actress immediately after (apparently). Otherwise it would just seem like an awkward coincidence rather than a deliberate, bizarre decision. Feels weird talking about the oscars...

    I wonder what percentage of people were like me and had no idea what the joke was in reference to, which made the assault seem even more ludicrous. Like "damn, he's on a whole other level of not appreciating roasts." Rock sure did a good job of maintaining his composure. The 2016 roast is actually pretty funny.

    omfg I went to the drive-thru last night for one of these. Was told to wait, no prob. Finally takes my order maybe 10 min later, and regrets to tell me the shake machine is broken (lol the memes are right I guess), so the point of my trip is abandoned. I order nothing. Then I have to awkwardly wait for the next three vehicles in front of me to finish up before I can make my escape.

    *first 4 FF albums are gold. In Your Honour was a'ight. Rest has been mixed for me, but good songs on all, no doubt.

    Colour and Shape is without a doubt their best work, but give One By One another shot. So many excellent rock out moments on there. I think Grohl was really inspired by his time with QotSA on that one.

    Was thinking about pizza early today, and how good a pizza night would be. But pizza nights happen at the end of my shift, and I could not hold out until midnight. Needed a 15 minute wolf-down, so Shawarma wrap won the prize. Still waiting for Shawarma pizza to trend.

    First five Foos albums are all top notch in my book. Couldn't ask for a better pop rock album than Colour and the Shape (though that one's all Grohl for drums). The pressure on any drummer backing him is immense. Hawkins was as solid as they come, no doubt. Seemed like a super nice dude too.

    Today as I approached the door to leave my apartment I noticed I had a fork in my hand. Hadn't eaten, didn't do dishes... Why was I holding a fork?

    Was it Fairways? Anytime they put something "on sale" the normal price underneath the sale sign is the same. They've done that for at least a couple decades, so i guess it works.

    The gas station air pump that costs $1.50 per pump turned on after I had put in just $1, but in the time it took me to process that fact I had alreadsy put in another quarter. So I needlessly spent a quarter that I would otherwise still have to this very moment. Life is such garbage.

    I'd consider it if the drive thrus at the 2 nearest ones were open. No way am I downloading the McDonald's app to make late night orders. Milkshake would be good.

    Got unusually tired at 11pm, so I went to bed and slept. Now it's 2:30am and I'm wide awake (my normal bedtime is 4-5am). Fuck. Considering driving to the gas station to buy ice cream... but I have a sinking feeling they will be closed, and then I just don't know. What i really want is coffee, but... 2:30am. Hmmmmm.
