    SFWP #2: people posting vids as examples of good vocal performances, and all I can notice is how many flat notes there are (from a vocalist who I previously thought had an excellent sense of pitch... happened a couple times recently. Interesting that those are the ones people often choose when there are so many other examples of those same performers nailing it. Maybe bad pitch gets interpreted as more emotional by some people? Happens a lot in the studio as well when we're choosing the favourite takes. Weird.)

    SFWP: the inability to react to one's own posts on here. On facebook, if I post something that's solid gold and no one responds I can add the laughing guy or whatever as a sarcastic "look you idiots, here is the appropriate response" so that everyone feels really stupid for missing it. But here there's no way to do that. Awful, really.

    I ate a Dr. Autechre pizza last night - chicken, some kind of weird cheese and something else flavour. Added my own chorizo, cheddar, chili flakes and sriracha. The crust was actually like cardboard, but the toppings were so good it didn't matter imho tyvm. No pics b/c ur imagination is better. ????

    He prob had a moment after that popped into his head where he recognized it as the cleverest bit of word play he'd ever conceived. Like "this is going to blow them away." Two words that rhyme and relate to a thing. But also, probably something he heard someone else say.

    But that's what makes it hott. Also, I just checked and the movie I was watching last night in which I found Christini Ricci hot was made the year she turned 18. *phew/in the clear* My friend gave me a false sense of security though by saying she was in her early 20's at that point. Also... they were probably filming before she was 18 so... I guess it's time to hand myself over to the feds.

    Sting came across as a pretty cool guy in the doc. I know he's one of these music celeb types whose been put in the Bono category by many (I mean, no one else is quite in that same category), so my brain automatically wants to go "haha Sting." But most of the music I associate with him is awesome, and any time I see snippets of him talking he seems pretty genuine/bright. I guess what I'm saying is The Police discog in my headphones is imminent.

    Stepped away from watmm for 4 days and I feel so far behind. The prospect of getting caught up on all the threads I was following is quite daunting. I feel displaced.
