  1. A little bit of each here hehe : - I've listened to MU1 over and over and over : Hyperwave (what a nice way to begin an album), Teardrops and Leap through time - can't pick any track in MU2 : really nice material, but I've listened to that one much less than the other ones. - Highland and Oscid on MU3. Oscid especially ! - Japan, Thinking of you, Pedal Box, Blue Haze and Dust on MU4. I'd say that the one (of the Colundi pack) I've listened to the most yet. Project V is also an amazing record, kind of half between Astrobotnia and most recent Aleksi's work. Spacetime and Path are ace... and damn! : Autumn Acid !!! I just wish the extended Boom Blaster will eventually get a physical issue, lovely stuffs in that one too. Colundi Sequence Level 4 is my fav of the CS bunch.
  2. I didn't even noticed that the Astrobotnias got remastered. I just wish Boom Blaster extended version could eventually get a physical release.
  3. Splendid, hope mine arrives today. In other news, I have to ask: do La Poste deliver on a Sunday? I'm afraid they don't ! ;) I received it on saturday, saw it in my mailbox, opened the letter, put it in my wallet, went out for few beers and red wine, slept, got a little hungover, listened to it on sunday, and posted here.
  4. Just received Colundi Sequence Level 4 : it might turn into my fav one of the Colundi bunch. Most playful and varied material of the serie yet, kinda reminiscent of the Ovuca Bonus.
  5. Got the email / sent payment. Can't wait ! Vinyle is delayed though.
  6. I love my APS Coax's. A bit shy on bass but so useful and accurate from 55/60Hz ! It's quite a pleasure do mix on them. Anyway, whatever monitors you may end buying, try to sort out a demo (and preferably a properly burnt-in) pair for a week or so in your own room. That's the only way to know if you'll like them or not.
  7. France being quite a depressing country, I could leave it and live elsewhere.
  8. Same here ! Can't wait to listen it all, the teasers make me think it could turn into my very fav 2013 release. What a nice year :)
  9. Email sent, reserved a copy of both. Has anyone received a confirmation email ?
  10. max4live I guess ?
  11. xox ! elusive4 : would you have an example of a desk design to reduce/avoid those reflections please ? I want to build a new (pretty simple) desk for my DAW and monitors, nothing complicated at all really, I don't need/want a large surface. I'm also considering a very small surface and DIY speaker stands (with the IsoAcoustics on top). Thank you !
  12. If you don't mind, I'm going to quote myself on Gearslutz on that matter : Accuracy over 60Hz up to mid freq's is so useful to get the lows right, much more than subs. I was a bit anxious about that when I bought my APS Coax (closed design, coaxial drivers, super accurate / fast but not going as low as other monitors)... I no longer am. My mixes are better than ever, with heavy kicks and basses, and no more mud at all. I check subs with a set of headphones, et voilà. I'll add that I can "feel" what's going on down there, even if I don't have that "kick in the chest" a huge monitor would produce when blasting a 4/4 808 beat. If I can ever afford it though, APS is about to release a small sub tuned for the Coax. I'd love to have one... set of those !
  13. You're welcome Jason !
  14. IsoAcoustics stands. Forgive me for sounding like a salesman (which I'm not) : they'll improve any speaker dramatically, no matter how bad/good the monitors are. I've heard them on cheap Wharfedales, my Coax's, expensive 3way Focals and Barefoots... and the IsoAcoustics decouple the speakers from the desk in a fantastic (much more efficiently than Auralex MoPads / Primacoustics foam stands). So there's no more unwanted resonance between your monitors and what you put them on : no more mud in low freqs, and consequently a much better overall response / focus / clarity / accuracy. They can look a bit expensive for what they are, but they worth every penny. There are some youtube vids that show how well they work if you're curious. You'll se, the improvement is quite noticeable. Ps: lots of user reviews there too : http://www.gearslutz.com/board/product-alerts-older-than-2-months/708155-isoacoustics-desktop-daw-monitor-stands.html
  15. Yes, I absolutely love them ! Do you also own a pair ? Their accuracy in frequency and transient response make producing/mixing a pure joy (to me at least ;)). No more guessing or bad surprises, they're damn honest and revealing : if something sounds bad/wrong (or great/right) on them, then it is. I've been using them daily since april, and now that they're fully burnt-in/that I've learnt them, I'm delighted (and so relieved !) to hear that my new tunes sound great on every system I can play them through.
  16. the core of my set-up : Numerology 4, a set of APS Coax to hear it all as-is and a NanoKontrol2 for very basic MIDI duties.
  17. Let me guess then : Tr-808 & 909 Arp Odissey 2 Ms 10/20 Pro-1 Akai S2000 nice toys !
  18. I've been there a couple of times too, all condolences Bob :(
  19. aka Poume : and Siam : They've been living together for 6 months now (Siam couldn't move-in with me at my GF's when I did, so he had to stay a bit more at my mum's), and now they seem to be excellent friends (which wasn't obvious at first, 2 males...). It's so nice to see how happy they are now to live together, to be able to play with another cat.
  20. All Clae's, right ? They all look really nice. I love those kinds of classic designs with a modern/color twist.
  21. Yes, I love them :) And they're as solid and confortable as most Dr Martens.
