well, 707 is good and pretty cheap.

505 is good for bending that's close to being it.

606 is boobs good.

626 is pretty stupid unless you want to bend it, a lot of the crappier rolands have bad sounds are no good for syncing with stuff.

I have a 505. It's great as a MIDI trigger! :P

I really never use it, got it for like 20 bucks or something. I think it sounds pretty shit and has.. no options.

Really though, a nice MIDI interface for live performing ;)

I've a 626 along with a 606 and 707, and its a pretty mean combo. I use the 626 for its conga, shaker, tamb, hats, all sorts of stuffs. I had it bent for a while, but then just sampled all the bent sounds I needed and took all the bends out. Its pretty solid, and you can get it for under $100 (~50 quid) easy.

But no-ones offering them for free.

Although the hr-16 would probably be super cheap eh...thanks for suggestion.

hr-16s are great. the sequencer is freakin' rock solid, and great resolution too. i've heard some amazing bends done to them too!

I fucking love my HR-16 but I never use it any more. Would let it go for cheap maybe, or would prefer to trade it for similarly amusing gear.
