Guest hahathhat Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 we spend all day trying to stay rational, levelheaded, and in control... the entropy builds up in a bucket inside you somewhere, and eventually spills over. you freak out at whatever's in front of you; totally lose control for a moment. then, having vented it, you promptly clamp down and CONTROL everything again. you feel terribly ashasmed of that one explosionary loss of control, beat yourself up over it, and attempt to control yourself even more strictly. this, of course, just worsens the problem. And trying to control yourself doesn't worsen your problem, you eventually get better at it with time. This is pretty much what I would have said if I continued writing. I stopped because I felt that was as far as I needed to go in this situation. Trying to control yourself will worsen the problem IF you do not vent. Getting better at controlling yourself is really just enlarging your bucket. Anyways, what I was trying to say -- I think Joyrex tries very hard, too hard, to be polite and nice, then one day he can't take any more and bans someone.
