10 years ago being the spring of 1999... i was moving away from using computers as much as i had spent the entirety of high school playing duke nukem/warcraft/starcraft BUT still...

1999

- winamp

- getting around our school's proxy servers (bess) using any number of tricks

- windows 98

- grand theft auto (funny how things never change)

- IRC

- yfn (local bb/free net set up by youngstown state university)

- PINE, which only in the last few years has gmail supplanted it as my all-time favorite email client

- AIM

- ws_ftp

2009

- os x

- safari

- xp only when i absolutely have to (entirely too often)

- audacity/acid

- aim (rarely)

- the myface

- ical/isync, etc

- torrent clients

- whatever ftp client i can find that works

- occasional pixelimator

- watmms/detroitluv/rss/gay purse pr0n

- champagne cocktails

you've come a long way, baby
