Goddamn family sitcoms

My problem is when characters change actor/actress (it's usually actresses). On both Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Family Matters the mom character was replaced with a lighter skinned actress. Now, I'm sure the original actresses left on purpose (I'd hope so) but it is so stupid! They never look alike! But yeh; just something on my mind before going to sleep. :on2long:

There's something really depressing about Nick@Nite.

yeah it is like watching snippets of the past

I actually have hours of videotaped normal nickelodeon television from the olden days, with commercials and all

its really strange to watch it, because its like watching tv, sure, but something is uncannily off

i hate it when they change a character into a different actor. like they think we might not notice or something. well the jig is up. this also happens more frequently with cartoons, because they think we dont know how to listen, but we do. like when they changed seinfelds dad. i was like what the fuck, is seinfelds mom having an affair? is it part of the plot?
