I like Clark, I really do, but he (despite others claiming to the contrary) just doesn't have the musical background/discography and wasn't around during the formative period of electronic music that typifies what we currently consider the genre-defining albums and songs that caused Joyrex.com/WATMM.com to form in the first place.

i can understand that people like/love clark but seriously, there are lots of better music out there.

 

I don't even think it's a matter of there being better music out there; it's just that unlike the artists that have subforums here, Clark's output and musical background is rather limited at this point. Perhaps in 5 years or so or if he becomes prolific in his output (and maintains the quality level), then perhaps. He really hasn't had a genre-stirring release since perhaps Clarence Park or ETBOY, and even those were mere blips on the electronic music radar.
