Joyrex Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 On the skin dropdown (lower left corner), I've added a new skin, called CleanCut - it's a freely available skin and I've modified it with the custom navigation bar that the default skins have, as well as taking out the masthead, so those who like their vertical space should appreciate the more screen real estate. It also features a slightly different colour scheme, so those who are tired of the blue/green one may like this better. it also minimizes the user info that was originally in the masthead, making it thin and unobtrusive as possible, again with the goal of screen real estate. It's a variable width skin, so those who prefer fixed-width will have to wait a bit for me to make a variant with a fixed width, but that should come shortly. I'm working on that... should have it sorted shortly. Grey one? This version of the board, or one from long ago? If it was the recent gray skin, I need to see if they updated it and I'll put that back on as well as I liked that one too. I've read where they're working on 'classic' versions based on the really old skins (back before we went to this version of the board - the blue and the grey ones we had before we went to this version). Why isn't the General Banter on the very left of the navigation bar? That should be General Banter | Music Discussion instead of Music Discussion | General Banter. It's that way as Music Discussion is the primary forum now (or at least it should be, focus-wise), with General Banter being secondary.
