Brandi_B Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 it's funny you say that, cuz when I was watching the bad romance video last night, I couldn't help but think she was the female manson during his glam period, but pop instead of industrial/metal/rock. There are a lot of similarities. But many differences too. She's clearly more of a musician than manson as she plays piano pretty well and manson just half asses guitar/stuff. encey Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 Yeah, I was listening to "Bad Romance" on teh radio the other day and the verses sounded to me like Misfits / Marilyn Manson, while the pre-chorus sounded like Vogue-era spoken word Madonna and teh chorus is straight-up Cher. I don't really like Cher at all. But I guess what I do like about her is her ability to take on so many different voices with character, like Mike Patton.
