It's got some trees,

some water,

a bunch of oil'n'shit,

some french people (we don't really like them),

cowboys,

maple syrup,

and Mantracker.

BAM Canada wins.

I'll leave it up to The Hauntingsoul to make the rest of the list.

The only time I went to Canada was in the southern part of Ontario and there's a paper mill nearby so it smells like fart

Canada smells like fart

From an outsiders perspective, I'd say the worst thing about Canada and the thing that puts me off it the most has to be Maximus Mischief.

for as hyped as it is that canada is the best country, i still find that there are actually a lot of problems within canada, but a lot of people in the US or other places don't really know about. canada has many regional differences, and differences in culture, than entire countries. every regional area is different, and so are the people. there is very little politically or otherwise that keeps canada united together, probably other than hockey and universal healthcare. in fact i think i might actually move away from toronto at some point. although it is canada's largest city and a metropolis, there are so many problems here it's insane. just basic stuff like the mayor and city council are corrupt and have constant ongoing scandals and little to no fiscal responsibility, the transportation system is antiquated by 20 years and has continued to get worse, everyone's an extreme socialist incapable of rational thinking on any topic, the amount of self-importance that toronto is the 'centre of the universe' is staggering, everyone is extremely rude and aggressive, the cost of living isn't worth it as everyone is in extreme poverty or living off their parents, it's the only city in the world where 50% of the population are a first generation immigrant which brings a lot of serious problems, etc. i would not be surprised within the next 20 years if there is a liberal majority that the west separates (alberta) from canada and then so does quebec and so does toronto. the best thing that happened to canada recently has been the vancouver olympics. people have actually been showing pride for canada, and are supporting their athletes. except in toronto though, everyone here hates anything overtly 'canadian'. toronto is like another world compared to the rest of canada

Hm, I'm staying in Whitby but I'll be visiting Toronto a few times...

It'll be another world for me anyway, but where else in Canada do you recommend?

the rocky mountains. and not banff or jasper (although they are lovely, except for all the goddamned idiot tourists).

no people, clean air and plenty of nature.

i have a few friends that live in BC and it definitely seems like everything has worked out for them there. Either Vancouver or Whistler, hell even Edmonton or Calgary.

I also forgot to mention how bad the overcrowding is in Toronto, it's basically impossible to get anywhere in the morning. Toronto wishes it was New York or a 'world class city' soooooo badly but it'll never get there, the place has been on a slow decline for quite a while
