I enjoyed Primer, but it does get wicked hard to follow towards the end.

the plot became exponentially dense.

the guy's working his second feature now.

Primer..

a couple of conformist suitboys fiddle about with electronics, come up with something resembling a time machine. Get a little confused by the whole project, get in a bit of a boring kerfuffle about the whole matter.

Goos sci fi ish premise but...

Rarely has one seen such a souless bore of a film. I hope there are not too many others like this out there.

If you want good non pop films look for more Jarmusch, Lynch or Tsukamoto

obviously you haven't seen 50% of films by Jim Jarmusch

Hehe, yes you're right some of them are on the boring side. But they're never souless.

I wouldn't say primer is souless. The sheer uniqueness and effort put into the film makes it bleed with a modern soul. It's just a very technical film and reflects on a culture you obviously have no interest in, but to say it has no soul in comparison to say.. the transformers films? Is a bit absurd.
