I'm just a huge fan of 00-20s weimar shit before WWII and modernism became dominated by corb and mies. Something more expressive somehow, more whimsical, not bogged down conceptually. Freer. (that said obviously mies and corb rock my world)

possibly my favorite building ever. Het schip by michel de klerk in 1919. so playful; so expressive and mostly with just brick and woodwork. (labor was very cheap post WWI)
