We veer from this alpha-toughguy-country mentality and people can't take it. All I know is, the Taliban controlled the Caspian oil fields, and we have permanent bases there. the funny thing of it is, he's already been labeled as a 'socialist' 'radical leftist' 'communist' by pretty much every major talking head or conservative radio show in existence. He might as well legalize all drugs now and make fucking in the streets allowed, it's like the boy who cried wolf, what else could they call him now that people would take seriously? No. It's the elephant in the room when it comes to mass media discourse. There is relatively no questioning of this fundamental question in any mainstream reporting these days; not to mention the fact that the entire occupation is illegal under United States law since there was no formal declaration of war by Congress. This whole operation displays a huge disregard for legal protocol, which is profoundly upsetting considering that it is being carried out by the primary branches of the government.
