"The sort of twee person who thinks swearing is in any way a sign of a lack of education or of a lack of verbal interest is just fucking lunatic. Or they say, 'It's not necessary.' As if that should stop one doing it. Things not being necessary is what makes life interesting."

I'm rarely in a situation where swearing wouldn't be ok and my parents were never strict about it so i'm not very conscious about swearing. I bet i'll start noticing whenever i swear now.

Plus, i've totally murdered guys with this gun i'm holding so it gives you perspective on shit and shit.

Swearing is more like a rhythm thing for me. It helps the flow of conversation and is less jarring than saying "um.." It gives me that split second to structure my talking better.

I would like to swear less, but only so that when I do swear it has more impact.

I hate when people imply swearing is bad or shows a lack of intellect, I think it's glorious that we have these words that have so much impact. I was born, I learned my native language, I'm going to fucking use it.

To swear at Troon mostly, that pointless cunt.

the best is saving it up until the right moment, and then using it creatively.

i'm soft spoken usually, so if I swear in regular conversation it sounds forced and weak. It sounds better if I infrequently say something provocative or brutal where it isn't expected. I dunno, whatever.
