not really, i quit and feel pretty 100% about it.

but i can't seem to come to terms with this website.

http://www.smokingfeelsgood.com/

from the forum:

There is nothing like it - Anonymous

There is nothing like the satisfaction of rewarding your nicotine-deprived body and brain by inhaling a massive amount of thick smoke into your lungs as deeply as the confines of your chest will allow and holding it until as much of the drug is absorbed and your your alveolar walls are coated with a fresh layer of tar before exhaling.

i just don't know here.

there's posts by parents detailing how they encouraged their kids to smoke,

and people protesting the view that smoking is cancerous.

a thread titled "do smokers go to heaven?".

dirty habit. smoke inhalation whether it be a house fire or over time in small bits recreationally kills people. kills the ones who actively

smoke and kills the ones around who are subjected to its toxic cloud. whether it be six feet under or walking dead, ingesting

poison defeats our purpose.

edit: that website is fucked up!

As far as I'm concerned people can choose to kill themselves by whatever means they like. Dragging their kids into it, that's something else. There's a special level of buddhist hell reserved for those types.

Everyone I know who does it really enjoy taking smoke breaks with people, but still wish they could quit.

Yes, aside from the oral fixation that's one of the hard parts to give up, it's such an easy way to meet people.

I actually quit cigarettes a week and a half ago, and it feels great. Haven't even had the urge to do it again. Last time I quit, it was hell for three months.

It's great game, the smoking game. I got out of it a while back, too many guys in suits and teenagers pushing the boundaries of cool. Back in the day, you'd get a pack of 20, pants down, hair brushed back and you'd just light them up one after another, no retreat, no surrender. You'd have a tin of tuna in one hand, tobacco flavoured glow stick in the other and you'd just toot until your teeth felt like heavily used piano keys in an old jazz club. You could whistle at the ladies passing by and 9 times out of 10 you'd have them back at your place for a lengthy session of Mario Kart. Gives you cancer though.

I fucking love to smoke. Bunch of pious nob in the above posts.

Don't get me wrong, I love smoking. Pinpoint pains in my lungs, three months of nonstop cold and flu, and the varicose veins aggravated by the nicotine finally compelled me to quit though :(

I still cave in now and then for a few weeks and have to go through the process of quitting all over again. Sigh.

I like to smoke. Have for about a year and a half. Not addicted in the slightest. Go days or weeks without smoking and have no craving. (Although I usually go out about once a week and smoke a 10 pack or so [or roll ups]).

haha, the forum gets way more ridiculous.

18 year old Davey, smoker of 10 years, asks:

Hi I'm Davey and I've been smoking since I was 8 and I just turned 18 and I am thinking about trying out for the track team at my school since I'm a senior and I want to be remembered for being on a sports team. So I ran a mile yesterday afternoon for the first time in 3 years and I was amazed at fast I was until about 2 minutes of running I was beginning to run out breath..

So what should I do? Should I even bother to try out for the track team?

cigarettes don't really produce a pleasure for me..

or is that woozy lightheaded feeling what people like?

it only happened a few times then went away.

got hooked anyways and at points would clear entire packs in a night.

for why, i don't know..

looking back on it the only thing cigarettes ever did was give me headaches, lots of phlegm, weak lungs, and dirtier teeth.

i'll stick to weed...

oh, and not to mention how fucking HARD IT WAS TO QUIT THEM.

i enjoyed nothing about cigarettes yet couldn't stop craving a smoke.

Have girlfriends that are smokers too and all three of us have our girlfriends pregnant which rocks! Sex and smoking are good together!

LOL what!

come on, this has to be a site full of trolls.. there's no way people take smoking to be this pleasurable.

i hope that site is full of trolls. however, i would not be surprised to know that idiots like that exist.

i say that as a casual smoker. i know it's fucking awful and unhealthy but i view it as a habit of youth. once i have kids and settle down, i'm not touching it anymore. it's irresponsible to continue it into older age.

i've been a smoker for about 10 years (yes, i started smoking in my 20's  ). for the past couple of years though, i've only had about 4-6 smokes a day, so i guess it should be quite easy to give it up. i never really tried since i really like smoking. i pretty much sit on my ass all day though and don't really exercise at all so im thinking heart failure and/or cancer within the next couple of years.

i should probably quit.

i would very much like to quit, but its extremely difficult.

acid has an interesting effect on nicotine addiction. i once felt no need for a ciggy for like 3 weeks after a heavy trip

having said that i dont think replacing ciggys with acid is a healthy option

smoking is like any drug use; do it all you like, but don't show allegiance to it like its a way of life. I hate that shit.

like all the stoners who regard pot smoking as like a part of who they are or whatever. that's so lame.

i fucking love smoking, but up until now i have refrained from posting my pro-smoking propaganda.

now stfu with the subtle preaching of your anti-smoking propaganda to people. there's plenty of information out there if someone wants to give up.

9/11 was an inside job.
