VHS Head recursor

Reminds me of Meatbingo. I'm not sure exactly who he is though, some people said it's actually early stuff by VHS Head, but I don't think it is ... ?

Thinking about this I'd say Hexstatic would be a good precursor candidate for VHS Head.

But I'd guess there's lots of artists even before that that used the cut up movie/tv sample aesthetic. The KLF and the Orb come to mind at least

I like Akufen quite a bit, especially the "My Way" album, and his work as Marc LeClair is cool too. He does sound a bit like VHS Head; he's definitely at least a minor figure in the history of sampling, and possibly the biggest figure in microhouse.

That sure sounds like VHS Head! It shares some of the same samples that I've heard on TRoG as well! Really cool at any rate!
