  1. Definitely not happening this year.I’m still thinking yes but warp is running out of time for an odd campaign coupled with another crash and another leak...That’s what I mean. There’s no space in the release schedule to hype up AND release. Pressing plants will be getting seriously backlogged right now with RSD bullshit. If it WERE gonna happen this year, it means Warp would’ve had to have sent it off to get pressed months ago. And there’d definitely be a leak by now. Not happening. So you're saying that the Collapse EP was "sent off to get pressed months ago" as well? I don't think the lead time is as great as you are suggesting... That being said, I tend to agree with you that it's looking unlikely we'll see a BOC release of any kind this calendar year.
  2. Does anyone feel like I do that T69 Collapse only 'works' in the context of the video (Weirdcore did an amazing job syncing up the visuals to the beats)? I've tried listening to the song sans video, and it seems like it's missing something (the "collapse" part of the song is really jarring without the visuals as well IMO)...
  3. Ltd. Edition and cassette still available (as of this writing). 53.97 (not including shipping) USD for the Ltd vinyl, CD and Cassette versions.
  4. No - posting copyrighted works is against forum rules, and a violation of copyright law (plus it's disrespectful to the artist)
  5. yesss Come on you Cunts, let's have an epileptic seizure Kids would be "collapsing" around the country after watching it! Maybe it will be like the visual effects in The Incredibles 2...
  6. I wonder if the video is for a specific track, or a promo for the EP itself... wasn't it supposed to be around 5 minutes in duration?
  7. I'd put my hard earned money on that one. Very likely since Weirdcore's done videos for his live stuff as of late...
  8. unreleased 1993 EP, calling it nowowoWOWOW woah nice find Or 1493 days after Syro. that makes the release date for collapse october 24... Except the Collapse EP comes out 14 September...
  9. I think the title refers to the artwork (the Aphex logo "collapsing" into whatever surface it's projected on)
  10. It's cute that everyone's assuming Collapse will have previously-heard music on it... just because SYRO had stuff he'd been playing live for years on it, does NOT mean he's going to release an EP of stuff he's been playing in recent gigs... Now, just for clarity, I have not heard anything off the Collapse EP yet to confirm, but I would think he's done releasing older material and is focusing on newer, fresher stuff.
  11. So, there's two track listings - one "Aphexized", and one more human-friendly, but it looks like there's some doubt about track #3: Aphexized version: 01. Ahnhyar 02. T69 1S T 44 03. MT1 t29r2 9 04. abundanceldetide [2 mn R8, FZ20m w'ly 90 9] 05. pthex (Mara rward) Translated: 01. T69 Interruption 02. First 44. 03. MT 1 t 29 r 2 04. Abundancel edit [2 R 8, FZ 20 m &a 909] 05. Pthex (bonus track)
  12. Except when it takes YEARS of complaints about keyboard issues before they admit to a problem and then implement the fix only in the new model. But yeah. They stand behind their products, deffo. Yeah - not saying their track record is perfect, but remember these are the exception, not the rule. The media inflates these things far more than they tend to be as well. And, Apple is fixing the old models - the permanent fix is in the new model, which makes sense (don't know how they are fixing the old models, but they are).
  13. this is the most untrue thing ever. a friend of mine has a wildy successful business with the model of promising to fix any problem apple say is unfixable. he claims to have a success rate above 95 percent. he owns his own 4 man plane to go hanggliding with. thats how well he's doing fixing gear that apple refuse to, so you buy more shit off them. There's a vast difference between "unfixable" and fixing something due to a defect in the hardware. I was more pleased that Apple was willing to fix a 2+ year old watch well out of warranty for free - they could have easily charged me for the labour, the battery, etc. Case in point - I had something similar happen on my 2011 MacBook Pro - the battery swelled because I never unplugged it from the charger and it sat for years, not allowing the battery to discharge appropriately. They were willing to replace the battery, for around 80 USD, or dispose of the bad battery and I could use the laptop battery-free by having it on mains power constantly (this was in 2016 when I brought it in, a full 5 years after purchasing it). They never said they couldn't (or wouldn't) fix it. Another scenario - my wife's iPhone X (bought this past January) had a flickering screen issue - brought it in 3ish months after buying it, and they replaced the screen for free. Another time, my daughter's iPhone 5C was dropped, corner of screen cracked and Apple replaced the screen for free. I had an 2006 iMac that the logic board went bad on it after 6+ years (kept rebooting when it got too warm) - here in Texas there is a weird "vintage" law that prevents servicing of electronics older than 5 years from date of manufacture, and Apple did refuse to fix it due to that - but that's not Apple's fault, and they even referred me to a third-party that could fix it if I wanted that wasn't subject to the vintage law.
