  1. Still using that effect on his voice.
  2. redruth subconsciously sees goatse everywhere, more news at 11
  3. I had that happen in my first job, a liquor warehouse, fine mist of beer everywhere. No it wasn't my fault, was like that when i arrived, honest.
  4. that actually pretty cool. Would have been nice if they'd spent a bit more time on the last one though. Like close up and slow mo.
  5. It's called that if you're too cool for school.
  6. What's with the lens !! Aren't the japanese famous for making decent cameras. Surely even though the sun is coming from the side they could have gotten a better sourced image than this. Also, i didn't realise that the moon was so bumpy.
  7. this seems like some shit that's been coordinated on something like 4-chan, or clown-chan yeah, or it's speculated that it's viral promotion for the remake of stephen king's "It" and that trolls around the country have gotten on the bandwagon. There was another clown sinister clown standing around thing a couple of years ago if you recall, i think that originated in the UK but the US picked it up.
  8. What happened after they tried to throw it in the oven. .... One of my favourite paintings of the year btw. By this guy.
  9. strange pictures thread is thataway __>> It needed an update too. The image looks like it belongs in Les diners de gala by painter and surrealist Salvidor Dali.
  10. no. no. Of course you should like your own music. Like it and be critical of it and make it better. And then get a better understanding of what you're doing so you make even better music and like that. Having a persistent and positive attitude towards what you are doing will probably garner better results than being bummed out about how shit something is. You need to be able to see even in the most shit thing that there is contained within a little gleam of treasure that you can work with and so shape to something better, and then better and then better_er. You need to project forward to what it can be, not dwell on what it currently is, block out the static and tune in to the path forward. A sculptor can start with clay or a lump of rock . We start with a mess of unformed sound which we've gotten from mucking around, which we channel and refine, coming up with novel little sketches here and there, which we bolt on, slip in or infuse through, then perhaps scrap the lot because something that happened half way through sounds betterer_er. hahah.
  11. hah, nice counter point, a little gooey, lacks pith. But i will accept it nonetheless.
  12. Unlike the mirror you can make your ideal. But to humour your mirror analogy whilst adding my point, perhaps it's like looking in to a mirror and putting your make up on and getting your hair did. watmm making music
  13. The second episode wasn't as cohesive in it's transitioning between scenes and in the character interaction and i wasn't overall impressed with everything that was happening, like that operating table scene was handled clunkyly when it could have been amazing. It's still setups for what's going to happen down the track i spose. We'll see if it matters that this episode wasn't so fab. There were some scenes that i thought were good, like the transition from the suit up room to what you thought was a bar, but then it started moving and you realise that it was a train. Continuity wise that scene doesn't work out cause that guy's friend was going to be fucking the changing room bots and so would have arrived on the train after the more gentle guy that just as far as we could tell, got changed and that was it. I also liked how the glass next to Ed Harris smashed when the protagonist in the mexican village bar shot at Harris but missed. It was a nice little detail that reminded you that there is live fire going on, it's just that the guns must be designed to not expel bullets or the bullets must disintegrate before hitting a customer. This means that something could possibly go very wrong from that angle as well.
