  1. no I feel a change is in order. To avoid future confusion i'm not the sweet old lady in my avatar ETA: Part of me doubts you are as fugly as your avatar ;)
  2. Merry Christmas from me and my 97 year old gran ;)
  3. I don't have the Lift EP but thanks to your post I visited their website and grabbed all the albums. I love their style. BOCish but with their own twist. I'm also now getting into Casino vs Japan. Thanks for the recommendation, it's really top stuff! (I'm always 10 years behind with music it seems)
  4. King Creosote & Jon Hopkins - Diamond Mind Jubilee Edition. Friggin' fantastic. Don't know why it has taken me so long to buy this. Not normally a fan of music with lyrics (possibly retarded i know) but they really work on this album. Love it. 8.95/10.1
  5. Melodic Autechre > 'Difficult Autechre' - I'll bugger off to the Plaid forums
  6. LP5 (Vose In is my absolute favourite Autechre track, plus there's some other gems here too) Oversteps Confield (absolutely in love with Pen Expers and Eidetic Casein but the rest is meh for me) Move of Ten Amber Incunabula Tri Repetae Quaristice (Quantity over quality) Chiastic Slide Untitled (only like Fermium) Draft 7:30
  7. This track makes me very clappy
  8. That tune is great! It's so cheesy, so warm, so.... Ceephax
  9. Not my favourite, but there aren't many of these on youtube it seems. The two Ambient News albums are really good stuff.
  10. A can of the 'ole wife-beater. Cheers WATMM!
  11. ...I've been loving his Ambient News albums lately. I don't think i'll be able to listen to them in the same way.
  12. have you had the passion sources? http://www.discogs.c...s/master/107793 No, and I was not aware this existed. I'll check it out. Thanks for the info
  13. Ambient News - Zweite Sendung - Not as good as the first Ambient News album but some sweet tracks on here nonetheless. Like the first album, probably best to listen to the whole way through 4 or 5 times, then some of the tracks just become addictive. Like drugs 8/10 Digital Orgasm - It - Cheesy as fook, but some great tracks on here. Invokes much nostalgia! 7/10 Peter Gabriel - Passion. Pretty fucking incredible. 10/10
  14. The Gasman - Hiiding Place. Experimental/Modern Classical i guess. I'm a big fan of all his work. This is a great, piano driven album. 8/10 Clark - Iradelphic. Genre: Bibio Enjoyable enough but lack s a bit of direction to my ears, Fist couple of listens it appealed to me, but I haven't felt the need to re-visit the album since, Disappointing 5.5/10 Squarepusher - Ufabulum. Another album that appealed to me on first couple of llstens. I don't think there' s much here to keep me coming back. 6.5/10 (I gave this way too much praise initially) The Caretaker - Patience (After Sebald), The Caretaker is my crack-cocaine, musically speaking, at the minute. I love this album and almost all the other caretaker albums. I am yet to buy any of his stuff released as Leyland Kirby - but I'm going to. 9.1/10
