  2. Yes sir, that is confirm. End of February. (http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/345564/scitech/geeksandgaming/windows-pc-version-of-resident-evil-4-ultimate-hd-edition-out-february)
  3. Plus that fight with Jill where you have to rip that control unit from her chest...I remember Chris shouting "I don't want to hurt you!" and then accidentally killed her. lol.
  4. Yeah that's one I want to try once I can afford a better machine. RE5/Biohazard 5 was decent overall. I liked the African setting and the history behind it going back to the first game. The inventory system was a bit crap tho - a minigun takes up the same amount of space as an herb, for example.
  5. Best video game foe in recent years [youtubehd]ZZAaTYVepPQ[/youtubehd] [youtubehd]bb_JYcYIUWc[/youtubehd]
  6. [youtubehd]TcYOy6I6OR8[/youtubehd] Better than the live version im.o
  7. Siren's my fav class. I'm at lev 26 right now. Yeah Infinite's pretty and all but it's got nothin' on BL2 gameplay-wise. Might as well be reading an Ayn Rand novel or something.
  8. Yeah I saw Machinima posted a new YouTube on that last night. The Wii U isn't doing so hot for sales apparently - kinda like their Virtual Boy from 1995. Well I think I finally got Borderlands 2 optimized for my laptop, after spending the past few days reading troubleshooting forums and doing various tweaks on the in-game settings and game engine, updating my BIOS, and disabling all HID-compliant devices. (Straddles this thread and the "Stupid FWA/S" one) Also, just found out Resident Evil 4 HD will finally be available on Steam at the end of February. There was a PC port that was released years ago, but they fucked up the control interface, so I hope they get it right this time. I remember having to buy a gamepad to play that one cos the keyboard controls weren't worth a damn.
  9. Good thing I read the whole post. When I hear "cat fight" it's rare that it's in a literal context.
  10. On a Bug binge lately. I know it's a music vid, but the "now playing" thread doesn't do it justice imo. Plus I like her belly. Proof that you can be sexy without being trashy. [youtubehd]08GNGj6Fwpo[/youtubehd]
  11. I did have a desktop until I sold it last year cos money probz. But I'll save up for a new one eventually. The general consensus amongst avid gamers seems to be that laptops aren't made for high-end gaming. Guess it's as simple as that. Holy shit, I remember that game! It's been ages. I remember it being pretty fun. My ass is so broke right now that I can't even buy it for six bucks tho, hahaha
  12. That's what I'm playing too ATM. Had to take multiple steps to boost the framerate for my dated laptop tho, even after upgrading its RAM to 8 GB.
  13. [youtubehd]NnC9MEM3TGY[/youtubehd] I was gonna include two more examples in this post, but ended up being too much technical hassle.
  14. Yep, I was the victim of peer pressure a few days ago and ended up buying Nidhogg. No regrets, it's crazy fun. Yeah I noticed that one on Steam the other day. I think I added it to my wishlist. The "8-bit" grafix and swordplay remind me of Samurai Gunn - another indie piece from over a month ago. The environments are amazingly detailed, but the gameplay didn't feel as flexible as the first Bioshock for me. Definitely need a high-powered rig to run it smoothly.
  15. Trying to find a trac that was on a Kode9 mix from 2007, but don't know the name of it. I think it was by The Bug. I know Jah War and Poison Dart are already on it, but there's another one I recognize by sound only.
  16. [youtubehd]l488AjVjowg[/youtubehd] [youtubehd]wtIOBq7xZp0[/youtubehd] This is dope also. C64 was the first PC I ever used.

  19. Ah, I knew overheating one's laptop can wreck the insides but I didn't know keeping 'er cooled actually had a tangible performance boost. My sister has a usb cooler that never gets used so I'm totally going to start using that when I'm running DAWs and performance-heavy stuff. Apparently it might be possible to see the aurora borealis over Northern Ireland tonight so I'm going on a road trip with some friends with tunes and drinks and weed to find somewhere without any light pollution. Should be awesome You get the aurora there too? That's cool. Tourists like to flock here in Alaska every winter to come see it too, particularly folks from Japan. Yeah the USB cooler I bought does seem to improve my laptop's performance. But better yet, the RAM upgrade I ordered last week should be arriving in a few days.
  20. Sorry to hear that, Deer. It seems like the higher-paying jobs are also less stable and less certain. My paychecks provide me just enough scratch to get by most of the time, but on the same token I've been able to hold my job for over seven years. Anyway, hope you're able to start raking in cash again soon, even if it is from your old job.
  21. Just listened to "My Face Would Crack", and now listening to "Bug On My Windshield." Went from listening to something totally awesome to another thing that's utter shit by the same artist. How can?
  22. Not that it's my business, but it kinda sounds like a codependent relationship at this point. I'd say it's ultimately her job to find happiness, and it's not your sole responsibility to make her happy. She's gotta learn to pull her own weight. If you gotta abandon a sinking ship, then by all means do so.
  23. I am definitely more stupid than i was when i was 20. Kind of dont care though. Its all gravy. Definitely can relate to this. I used to use big words and speak more eloquently, but politics and philosophical and/or religious debate are a headache for me anymore.
