  1. The hard life of a moderator being moderated? Ok, this was a stupid attempt at being snarky, but what the F is going on here? I feel like I'm reading Kim Jong-Un's secret diary.
  2. People hating on the Seth Abramson tweets should ignore this post. I have to post though, because he made some very good observations, imo. Not necessarily about Trump, but rather about how laws are applied in the US. And how problematic it is. It's not news perhaps, but a former prosecutor explaining there's two kinds of law - a rich mans law and an everybody else law - gets to the heart of the problem. And to my eyes explain the Seth Abramson haters. As they're implicitly arguing that Trump won't be impeached because by rich man's law he probably did nothing wrong. And in US they might have a case. After these he goes into the rich mans law stuff. Also wrt Hillaries mail-server, btw. Arguing what she did was illegal. Which to me shows Seth is wearing his blindfold of Justice.
  3. Because it happened on a plane? Probably a matter of jurisdiction, i'm guessing.
  4. In case anyone was wondering, here's the original https://www.theonion.com/bush-regales-dinner-guests-with-impromptu-oratory-on-vi-1819567929 Also, copypasting this was a bit lazy ;) "You have to remember I'm a bit of a farm boy myself," chuckled Trump, referring to his 1,600-acre ranch in Crawford, TX.
  5. A glorious tweet :) People not familiar with John Dean: during Watergate he was to Richard Nixon what Flynn is to Trump in Russiagate. Including the flipping.
  6. To be honest, I think it's mostly technological wankery. Just like other digital currencies/financial assets. The only reason to delve into it, is potential growth of value. It's a volatile business, imo. One day you're rich. The next, your bitcoins are worthless. Good luck.
  7. this presidency... omg one minute you think it couldn't get any worse, and the next minute....wait what!? and people are scared of normalisation.... nothing normal going on here. absolutely nothing. the only suggesting of a normalisation is a complete silence from GOP. that might appear as normalisation, but isn't.
  8. Personally think a collapse like 07/08 is unlikely, but a downturn is around the corner. Most likely due to the ending of the current quantitative easing policies of the FED and equivalents around the world. Interest rates must return to normal again and it'll inevitably harm the current bubble-growth. So, yeah, the current growth-rates don't reflect actual growth but rather a bubble. But I don't think the underlying actual economy has much to lose. As it's still in the recovery phase from the previous collapse, imo.
  9. So, how much money have you made? Have you gained your fortune? Yes, it's this simple. Regardless of all the theories you could attach to it, imo.
  10. you talking shit? or has breitbart hypnotised you?
  11. All these sneaky little intelligence agencies knew all along about that orange fruitcake :/ https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/apr/13/british-spies-first-to-spot-trump-team-links-russia Summary from an undisclosed source: How many nations gave evidence of Trump-Russia contacts to U.S. intelligence BEFORE the FBI ever saw the Steele Dossier? United Kingdom Germany Estonia Netherlands Poland Australia France
  12. ;) edit: forget that 1st tweet. not sure how it got there. it's about the drama queen.
  13. In order to become a diplomat for trump, you have to leave twitter. ;)
  14. it's true though. the most interesting thing about these franchise movies are videos like RLM critically deconstructing the insanity. in an ironic way they are a critique on modern society. modern society has become a huge franchise. and the more biting and factual the critique, the better. it becomes satire. put into the right perspective, the bullshit becomes food for laughter and mockery. i make it sound bigger than it is. but it's true, imo. :/
  15. It's glorious! :) He had to make a public apology. And at this point nobody in the Netherlands will take him seriously. Really fitting as he's representing the Trump government. Note the subtle difference between representing the US and representing the Trump government. You see similar things happening with the Paris agreements about climate policy. The US is still involved. It's just that the rest of the world sees the Trump government as a lame duck. The orange dog barks a lot, but has no biting power.
