  1. Watching low-quality torrented rips of The Practice. Nostalgia. I had a huge crush on Lindsey when I was 11.
  2. I'm on a sci-fi kick after the last steam sale, getting into Alien Isolation and FTL. I love to play FTL with a custom electro playlist bangin away in the background. Such a great game. Just unlocked the Engi ship. Shit is getting addictive real fast.
  3. I wish MS Short was MS Long. Loving this batch - so much variety!
  4. So many LOLs in that: Salmon Valley, heard it on the stereo of a Cabriolet, The Viking Posse - they were my descendants, Epic trolling. I really hope the Squarepusher story is true
  5. Sounds kinda like a Syro track without all the post processing
  6. 14 Floating∞ Watching these drop in real time makes me feel all tingly inside. Best use of internet since... i don't know. Best use of internet.
  7. lol I haven't played that one. Fed up big time with zombies tbh. same. can't believe how long that fad has somehow remained in fashion I'm also sick of the zombie trend, but the Walking Dead games are great IMO. They're way more compelling than the tv series (which is not saying much I know). I've been playing Naissancee recently. It's amazing. So IDM. The Confield of video games.
  8. ^^ beautiful! here's another one i gif'd recently: the image fed into it is a pic of my girlfriend's face
  9. from my julia set maker in jitter. if you look closely you can see btw great work guys, this thread is full of amazing talent. bronchus, i've always found your stuff really inspiring.
  10. I'll join in recommending Bernie, fuckin loved that movie. Jack Black's best performance yet.
  11. RCA Victor Presents Eartha Kitt - She has an amazing voice and sings in five different languages on this album. So lush and sexy.
  12. Finally going back to finish Alan Wake, and it's even better after taking a break around halfway through. It's really repetitive, but the combat is consistently fun, and the look and feel of the game is perfect all the way through. They really achieved the campy-yet-genuinely-scary tone they were going for perfectly. The amount of detail put into Night Springs episodes and in-game art and writing is wonderful. I absolutely love this game.
  13. Flirting with Disaster - awesome, best comedy I've seen in a while! David O really knows how to make a solid feel-good movie. Great cast. Relatable characters. Weird screwball storyline. I loved it.
  14. The second half of the second disc is where it's at for me. I listen to the run of spl9 - YJY all the time. recks on was incredible on early listens and I remember thinking it would get old after a while.. was wrong. It gets better and better.
  15. Watched the first ep of the new Trailer Park Boys season, was good! Really surpassed my expectations - it's risky going back to a series after such a long departure. Excited to see the rest!
  16. So excited to discover the pc port of Jet Set Radio! One of my favorite Dreamcast games. Got it on the humble store sale. It's a solid port. Great to play this one at higher resolutions.
  17. Noah - visually spectacular. Cheesy and over-the-top in a lot of ways, but that worked for me. I thought the final act dragged a little. Overall, pretty good, 7/10
  18. First episode was quality, mayne.Yeah i dug it! I wasn't sure what to think about the time skip but it seems like it'll work. Each season has been its own story arc more or less so this isn't much of a departure.
  19. Sim City - dos version and newest version back to back
  20. The Double 7/10 maybe? I don't know why the duplicate protagonist plot device is such a big thing right now. I liked the sense of humor in this film but I thought the surreal elements were kind of gimmicky and underdeveloped. The ending was disappointing. The whole thing borrowed way too much from other films. There was something i really enjoyed about this movie though, despite its flaws.
  21. This is a really weird comparison to me - quaristice is all over the place, one of ae's most stylistically varied albums. But TH is so consistent in its style, maybe their most focused and least varied album so far. I relistened this recently and I still love it. Jaquard Causeway always get me, so good! One of those rare tracks that achieves emotional resonance with nearly any mood.
  22. I picked up a few games in the last steam sale, but the only ones I've really sunk my teeth into so far are Borderlands 2 and Civ 5. Civ is getting a little too fun. The only game I'd played in the series before was Alpha Centauri, but I loved it. I still enjoy alien world strategy more than real world strategy. More IDM.
  23. king crimson - larks' tongues in aspic i still have issues with the vocals on this album being sort of pathetic, but i love it anyway. the first and last tracks are REALLY good.
