Ah nice, I was gonna pick it up ages ago but at that price - it's mine ! (and I'll finally get round to getting Audiosurf, and the Cave Story updated version)
-
As in it needs a third one - if so, yep ! Have you tried playing it with Cinematicmod (currently on version 12 - http://cinematicmod.com/cinematic_mod_12.php ). About 3/4 through my replay the first (non-Episode) mission again, haven't played it in years

Like the soundtrack to a hacking scene in a 90s scifi movie.

The official game is just as unsubtle with the Sony stuff - http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/11/12/10-awful-things-i-saw-in-the-first-hour-of-007-legends/

I'm the polar opposite, I prefer dark winter months to the summer - I think I have reverse S.A.D.

Just bought this sweet little thing for 5 quid on Steam - The light hearted narration throughout the whole thing really makes it stand out from your usual lo-fi styled indie game
-
Sweet - As with all RPGs I tend to go the melee wielding warrior type so doesn't look like I've done too much damage. I guess it's a good job I found out about the 'fragility' of NPCs this early on so I'm wary of what I'm doing.

Cool cheers man. BTW due to a control balls up I attacked the first two npc characters that you meet (as in the grass area, one was a knight type guy who talked like a paedophile and then the fatter man just up the steps who also talked like an abuser) they then attacked me on sight even after they killed me so I had to draw the bastards over the edges of cliffs. Have I screwed things up already?

The 60fps / resolution setting one ? Nah, currently just using the stock settings - I'm not sure my lappy could handle it anyway, the giant rat boss I've encountered about a couple of hours in seems to drop to

Just started Dark Souls. When you guys said it would be a tricky game to play I didn't quite imagine this :

Pretty much the stunt double of Alex Zane -

elaborate! Damnit, I got halfway though a long reply and I bloody closed the tab ... Anyway, imagine a film full of those in-between bits of scenes. A film with little content, character or plot development. A film with overlong segments of establishing shots with slow 'contemplative' music, scenes that are meant to highlight the gravitas of a situation but without the situation being featured. A film that's pretty much entirely style over substance. Stylistically/Thematically It's the polar opposite of B$M However, that sounds like I'm completely knocking it but I'm not. The joy of Mr. Heidecker's works (I'd say this project is mostly his focus) is that you never know what angle he's going for or what he's attacking but that there's always a point behind something. If you've ever heard his stand up shows or heard things like his solo podcast interviews you know exactly what he's in for. If you go into the movie fully prepared for a [knowingly] pretentious film then you're in for a fun ride. If not you're gonna be pissed off, bored or just disappointed. did you check the copy? cause i've downloaded a version that's one hour and a half of tim on his boat drinking champagne making fun of whoever downloaded it... Yeah, I've heard that version is quite prevalent on the net - Don't worry that's not the film, there is a 'normal' version !
-
Anyone seen it yet - It's clearly (probably !) a tongue-in-cheek take on the artsy-indie-hipster movie scene and for that I enjoyed it [with a knowing wink] immensely. A film like the bastard child of Harmony Korine and Terrence Malick: A fantastic car crash of a recommendation

I'm not quite sure if it's classed as Future Garage, but my housemate seems to listen to nothing but this kind of off kilter 808/909 tracks with a badly composed melodic structure, and always with a down pitched vocals. One day I took the piss and made this supposed extract from a Joy O mix set and he thought it was great - http://www.ilovecubus.co.uk/pete/joyo.mp3 Can't stand the stuff.

VHS Head - Trademark Ribbons of Gold

Holy moly that's one hell of a mix, shame it isn't longer - I could easily do with an hour of that mischief. -
Stylish wall bag too ...

Didn't Skyrim become almost unplayable on a PS3 due to save game bloat which wasn't fixed for many many months?
