  1. Aye, mine does it too - and I think from the amount of people that have reported it, it is on purpose. This also adds to the speculation about it being one of the 'bigger boys' on Rephlex.
  2. Oh, that's what micromanaging is - oops for some reason I thought that was about checking every aspect of your stats. Yeah I do loads of that but mainly as a result of prancing through fields clicking on a herb or berry as I'm running though the map toward the next mission, then when I'm done with the mission I head back home (I only fast travel if absolutely necessary, I like taking in the views !), randomly combine shite and then sell it on. It never really seems too much hassle but then again I happily spend bloody days just left clicking on things to complete Ginormo Sword - http://babarageo.com/flash/ginormo/ (for some reason I always had BJ Nilsen's The Short Night playing)
  3. I think what's good about the game is that you can level your character the way you want to play it. I realised this when playing Oblivion (my first non-JPRG) and tried to create a 'jack of all trades' equally levelled character - I ended up with a man not particularly good at anything so when my ps3 died I started afresh just upping the attributes I actually used. I've done the same with Oblivion and found the game so much easier - I mainly just concentrate on single armed combat, heavy armour, and basically the only magic I use is restoration. I'm just about to hit level 30 after about as many hours and am currently grinding my Smithing so I can make my single armed weapons and armour even betterererer, but yeah not really found it necessary to micro-manage anything. So for me now the game's bacome a first-person smack seven shades of shit out of everything then run off like a coward for 10 seconds casting restoration - repeat as required !
  4. Bloody Nora, this is one popular torrent - I've got 30745 seeds and 18287 peers. If this was a private tracker I would've gained a ratio to suit me for the rest of my torrenting days ....
  5. Cheers man, hopefully all will be well in a few hours when I get home from work.
  6. 3 minutes to go .... It's finally here ! http://blackmesasource.com/ EDIT: Bugger - have they just pushed back release for another two weeks ?! ( http://www.blackmesasource.com/bmrf-employment-letter.pdf )
  7. I hadn't heard that for ten years. Incredible. Goosebumps listening to it again. Woah - I didn't realise that's was that song from the live set he put out a long time ago. Been hunting for the name of that one for years ! I love the change when it moved to the second section at 2:25 - I notice it's missing the Blue Velvet sample that eventually made it onto the 'final' version.
  8. Huh ?! He just listed the stuff he'd like to see on the site in the near future - He didné claim they were on there or nuffink.
  9. Last thing I've heard him do was this from last year - [vimeo]24620676[/vimeo] Nicely old skool IDM visuals/sound
  10. This is the first thing I ever heard by him - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xudU3tfrw0I
  11. http://pouet.net/groups.php?which=30&order=release (or is that not what you meant ?) Woah, just ROT13'd the email address and you're right - where did you get that from ? EDIT: Oh I see, it's from the site - no I think that's just to prevent spambots/idiots from contacting him.
  12. Absolutely, I've never heard such an obvious 'plucked string' type synth generator - I mean I'm not saying that's bad at all it just it seems a little silly pretending it's something that it's not.
  13. I'm not a huge fan, though I do bloody love this one: [vimeo]26858902[/vimeo]
  14. Absolutely, 3six has done some insanely good ambient over the last few years - Droney ambient beauty in its purest most beautiful form.
  15. Actually ignore me I'm talking rubbish - Confusingly there appears to be both a rooting tool called Gingersnap (little 's') AND a custom rom called GingerSnap (big 'S') And yeah Dolphin Browser is great, it's become my default browser too !
  16. Just to clear things up: Gingersnap is the app that gives you root access (I used unrevoked), this then allows you to flash custom firmware (for example Cyanogenmod). But yeah it goes make things snappier - though be careful sometimes a later version does slow things a touch on older phones. I recently upgraded to 7.2.0.1 on my HTC Desire but it ended up taking ages to boot (plus lost the ability to move stuff to the EXT partition) so then downgraded to 7.0.3 and all was good again !
  17. I only use it to find the most efficient way to walk to places cos I'm lazy. I also like to put it on durring train journeys to make it think I'm some kind of super hero.
  18. I was about to say, that couldn't sound any more like Turrican if it tried, but I noticed it too was composed by Chris Hülsbeck.
  19. The H2 suffered from drop outs from the supplied oddly branded SD card (possibly from it having too slower data transfer rates) so if you've got weird glitches randomly on your recordings - don't panic, try a better SD card first.
  20. If they're as good as the older Zoom H2 or H4 models (which I expect they are being more expensive, and more recent) then you've got a bloody steal there. I own the H2 and I really can't see myself ever upgrading (not for the distant future anyway) as the sound quality is flawless.
  21. The rawness kind of diminished over time (presumably to appeal to a wider audience) but the first has some nasty dark ambience running through the entire thing- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkFwdCHebfc
