    Basically this, I'm not sure if he's still an analog elitist like he was (or pretended to be) 11 or 12 years ago but even then there were obvious advantages to at least some digital workflow. I don't own any hardware because of the price of admission as well as DAWs and plugins being so good these days, but I'm not going to criticize someone for using it because the workflow works for them. Whatever sounds good is good. But he may have just been taking the piss.

    Are you sure that's all digital? The effects as well as all of the percussion is all digital but the 303 as well as the leads and pads sound very analogue

    You wouldn't believe some of the shirts you'll find at Goodwill or the Salvation Army when it comes to classic music merch. Last time I went I found a minty fresh Pretty Hate Machine shirt from 1991. It's always nice to check when you're near one. EDIT: Assuming you're in the US

    I remember he did some pretty sweet MS-20 ambient work a few years ago. Pretty nice cover and massive undertaking. I wonder how much of the original track was analog, it's obviously got some digital trickery in there.

    To be 100% fair most likely all that he meant was that Hitler never used chemical weapons like Assad allegedly did. It's a bit ironic but it just wasn't thought out.
