  1. if tidal is processing 3 X bank deductions for single payments, there is a chance some users may not realise and fail to report the multiple deductions and not seek refund. those numbers are bound to add up in long term. seems like a good, Smart business move to me.
  2. still holding out on watching the new series until it's all out ... but here's something :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXoAiPb4ipg

  9. sekiro vaguely reminding me of Ratchet and clank games on ps2. hopping in space ship and tooting from different colored level to different colored level, getting new weapons and upgrades for your wrench, jumping around and hookshotting onto those flying green orbs. there’s something about sekiro that’s making me nostalgic for ps2 era action platformers. nier automata also has very strong ps2 nostalgia going for it. but then also obviously, getting throwback vibes to games set in japan like shinobi on sega, the arcade kid nikki game.. legend of kage. bit of super mario bros 1 where you fight king koopa (mario is set in fantasy mushroom land but it’s still oozing with japanese iconology a bit, if you really look at it with certain perspective..). not sure what this rambling has to do with anything but i think my point is... >>of course<< fromsoft doing ancient japan videogame is going to be cool as shit.
  10. i’m losing my shit at how good the art is and level design and just how cool everything is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark. i wanna visit Ancient Japan !!!!!
  11. Ugh, Lady Butterfly is giving me hell.... I've heard that fight is actually supposed to be more of a mid-game thing you come back to? Seems a lot of people are championing through it, her second phase gets me everytime, it's that damn homing magic attack she does while I'm rushing her. so found owl daddy at the estate, without giving to much away -- his directions lead to the drunkard boss right? im was exploring trying to find the cemetery but just did a loop around after fighting two spear dudes ... and also the dudes i could eavesdrop where horseback boss is are not there anymore! so i can't remember the hint! -- im just not not how ill beat horsey guy -- freaking jump scared me the first time i dropped down to that battle field -- was like "this is a boss fight, for sure" and then boom outta nowhere! lol i think you were pretty much in the right direction, if you found the 2 dudes with spears. i only found that area yesterday and it seems to be a secret detour i think, that's very close to where you were meant to be going i think.
  12. but ... Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ??
  13. agreed on sekiro ^ unlearning bad habits from souls and bloodborne is taking it's sweet ass time on my part, but i'm slowly getting the hang of it. game's so good though !! i was worried about it being single player at first, not having online summons to lean on and take the edge off during difficult boss fights. this game is just way more focused for it tho, between the level design + enemy encounters + difficulty curve and leveling up, it all just feels way more focused and like the developers have got a much firmer grip on the player experience here. and visually, it looks better than anything they've done prior as well. whole thing is seemingly potentially their best game yet i think ??? :^) also it being online only means there's a considerable amount of "goofiness" that's taken out of the equation this time round. still some subtle goofy humour though but it's overall feeling much more focused and stylistic.
  14. also regarding plastic^ labo by design isn’t possible with anything other than cardboard. the build requires folding and layering up the sheets of cardboard. very specifically engineered for cardboard. it’s kinda totally a kids thing lol, to build toys out of cardboard and then play with it.
  15. don’t think so. all the variations they’re using are different builds that require you to hold the switch screen/eyepiece physically to your head. so there’ll be different builds, and the building part is a big chunk of the ‘game’. pushing lots of cardboard out of lots of prefab precut sheets of cardboard, and lots of folding. takes a wee while but it can be fun and “meditative” in an ikea / lego (/ manual labour) kinda way. the labo stuff has all been very self contained, so other than the vehicle kit working with mario kart 8 (not greatly. the foot pedal for example is meant to have an analog precision between lightly putting foot down and putting foot all the way down, but in mario kart it was just a binary accelerate on or off kind of input), the labo equipment has been pretty tied to the software that comes in the package. i think the labo stuff is pretty cool but it’s good to know what it *is*. it really is 90% the build.
  16. that actually sounds more like autechres quadrange EPs. really? the quadrange stuff is the most hip hop oriented stuff they’ve done in ages to me. ah yep definitely. i was more makning reference to the alternate takes appearing. dumb analogy on my part :^)
  17. that actually sounds more like autechres quadrange EPs.
  18. I mean, I know how send and return works, but if you look up the 1604vlz4, in the top right is the return section. There is a knob that lets you send the return back to the send. Page 24 https://mackie.com/sites/default/files/PRODUCT%20RESOURCES/MANUALS/Owners_Manuals/1604VLZ4_OM.pdf had a feeling i was explaining the obvious. apologies !!!
