got up to World 8 on Japanese Super Mario Bros 2 without cheating. world 5 was brutal. but rest has been Good Wholesome Fun. until world 8... and then the game just turns into straight up bullshit... i checked my Switch play session times and it said Mario 2 had 20 hours... so i decided to start using save states to at least save at the start of 8-4 and ? hey, whaddaya know, i beat Japanese Super Mario Bros 2 !!! ... turns out the game has a World 9 after World 8... and you only have 1 life, and if you die it pretty much says "You're a super player!" and then gives you a game over screen lol. also, if you beat the game 8 times and get 8 stars on the title card screen, it unlocks Worlds A B C and D. ... who the heck designed this game??? it's such an asshole of a game.

i imagine fine tuning the skins will take some time, but they def need fixing up. here's my 2 cents for now.. i do find the default WATMM skin to be a real pain on the eyes. the background is too bright, and then the text is all lightly colored blues. the width and pacing on everything seems kind of borked too, in a hard way to distinguish why kind of way... the whole thing just isn't pleasant to look at imo. there's too much whites and light backgrounds for my preferences.. one good thing about the default skin compared to the Tomorrows Harvest theme is.. when looking at the list of threads, newly updated threads are clearly distinguished with bolder text. Tomorrowws Harvest theme by comparision, the threads with new posts are near indistinguishable. there's an icon on left, but because the text isn't bold.. it makes finding New #Content more of a chore than it needs to be. Tomorrows Harvest almost seems better, but the images used as backgrounds has whites in them ... the whole varying colors of the background in general makes the text hard to read. Tomorrows Harvest theme is not ideal at all.

literally how though?? have to imagine it ain't easy to *just* redo the model, without work being done to fix up talking animations and what not.

i've still never gotten into D+D. had a small group try it out but even the DM was a noob so it was a slow process of trial and error and figuring out how it all worked, and how to respond to the players needs and expectations... and eventually too much of the group lost interest and we stopped lol. i think having a DM who's not a noob will go a long way.

doing a quick playthru of dark souls 1 and being familiar with it is legit pretty relaxing. mini metro is another good one but that also gets pretty stressful.

option 1 = don't put all end on vinyl, = results in people not listening to 'all end' on vinyl. option 2 = put all end on vinyl, but split it across 3 sides. people who don't want to do that will not bother, and will not be listening to 'all end' on vinyl. no difference. people just like to complain about nothing.

at first i was thinking.. paraphonic could be bad and annoying.. and it might still be.. but i also think what i've heard so far sounds Good. you could maybe use sequencing as a means of working around the shortcomings + the modular open nature of the interface means you could have fun with the 4 oscs i think. it looks good. but also $$$ so i won't be getting it anytime soon ofc. just a bit of GAS is all :-)

Hollow Knight is a weird one. i feel you either love it or you don't. i look at Hollow Knight and something about the visual style just instantly bores me. tried playing it for a bit too but the visual style was so aggressively boring and uninteresting to look at, that i could not stand playing it much at all for long sessions. it's just that bad, boring and generic looking.

i've always thought it was 'A Dark Side Of The Moon'. weird.
