  1. Leak: By tonight, Wednesday at the latest. Warehouse cronies get paid to rip albums by Filelocker companies, so that it is a first come first serve race to increase ad revenue on the hottest items. If this is in a warehouse, this will leak
  2. How does CD printing work at this scale and unique design? Does the label use one printer and print out a mega load and then ship that out to distributors intercontinentally? OR, does the label use multiple printers across the globe, send specs, approve proofs and physically print them in each region? Here's why I ask... Today's the 15th. If Australian stores will be selling this on the 19th, then retailers should recieve their stock by the 17th, 18th at the latest to arrange shelves, get promos ready, etc. Australia is kinda far as fuck away. It's not like Warp sent a representative there to watch crates of CDs. Anyways, who's the distributor in AUS? Does this stock arrive on an international flight or freight ship along with other domestic goods? Does the AUS distro have a warehouse that this needs to go to first, confirm stock, and then ship out from before it goes to individual shops small and large? Each touch point could be a couple day affair. That means this thing is already en route and the farther it gets from the mothership, the less a leak is prevented. I'm just doing math here and considering the reality of the industry. I'd say if it's just the honor system keeping this leak-free, we're realistically days, if not hours away from Syro splooging all over our faces. Warpbot emails will be going out less than 10min after a leak is confirmed.
  3. So if this is released in 5 days in NZ, that means retailers would receive stock in the next couple days. I predict a leak by Wednesday at the latest
  4. Just checking in to say hi. Pretty excited this is coming. Been sucking down some acid feels to hold me over. Discovered Beatwife. I like that shits.
  5. Seriously, this would break us. Please consider this request.
  6. In addition to my previous questions, who are some of your favorite visual artists, living or deceased, digital or traditional?
  7. Shit, super late to this party. I have some questions: - Can you discuss the process for choosing album art? What flexibility do you give TDr and do you pick from multiple concepts? - can I do your album artwork? - would you consider releasing an album that is one track long, 72min? - would you re-re-consider your stance on soundboards? I know you talked about this earlier, but Sean pls, we're dying here!!! - related, would you consider doing a WATMM member-only subscription service where u post some experiments or throw aways or a catch all directory posted to Dropbox or something? Some community fuckery sort of conceptual project? - do you like any mobile apps for making music? Nothing serious, maybe audio toys to get you 'techre on while you are on the toilet. Guys, seriously, thank you. Sorry if I was ever offensive on here.
  8. I just came back from the Niigata Prefecture in Japan. Happened to be listening to a dope little radio station there, that is coincidentally run by a group of Russian foreign exchange student/workers who were on a visa studying abroad for audio engineering. Anyways, I was able to catch a part of "M39 Diffain". Sounds like an Exia treatment of M62 from Moves of Ten. Quite interesting. Have a gander: Youtube
  9. I am refraining from commenting.
  10. Track 04 is called "autechre - newbound"? Are we supposed to read into that?
  11. Okay, I was never the biggest BOC fan, but this is actually quite nice. Congrats everyone. Enjoy your day.
  12. So that guy didnt even really get into reviewing Exai until like the 11th of 15 paragraphs, and then he said dubstep. Seriously, fuck that guy.
  13. I've been saying that from the get go. Someone said it was a trigger to make the listener aware of all the synthesis they're about to experience... I think it just sounds like tingy streaming audio artifacts. Glad someone else picked up on it.
  14. LOL @ people saying there's no hiphop in Exai. T ess xi is about as b-boy as shit gets. And recks on. C'mon.
  15. It seriously sounds like what an acid trip come down feels like. How they pulled that off is beyond me.
  16. My only criticism currently is the first few seconds of the opener, Fleure. I think its a perfect track that sets the tone of the record, but I can't shake feeling like the very first part sounds like tingy RealAudio streaming buffering stuff. I just wish they had a minute at most of some ghostly stuff like at the very beginning and then switch it up and pound your skull in.
  17. Redownloaded the 24bit WAVs this morning. Listening on speakers for the first time (headphones first 3 times). Mother fuck.
  18. Awepittance - I'm glad to hear you're feeling it. Was the second listen more revealing?
  19. I was thinking the same thing earlier. This is a MASSIVE effort. And on top of that they potentially have another HOUR of newish material for a live gig. Fuck.
  20. aint no album closer unless its got a WATMM title in it niggas.
