getting accepted into a program has done wonders for my self-confidence...and apparently the ladies have been taking a liking to me...i feel like im one of those guys that starts out butt ugly at 18, and then is a middle-aged knockout at 45.....only a decade or so more to go... edit: I meant to add, I think the physical attractiveness might be related to the constant jogging. Hopefully I won't injure myself any time soon, and I don't really see any more pronounced physical changes in my body (body fat looks about the same, same amount of definition, etc.). But it's gotta be doing something good for my health, endorphins, sleep patterns, all that good stuff. Now if only I could quit my one indulgence day of two-four cigarettes and beers, I'd be set.

When we get to the JFK stuff in my history class im going to dim the lights and play the "Conspirators" track and give a nice little conspiracy theory speech. Should at least get people interested.

are you referring to the House Committee on Presidential Assassinations (HSCA) in 1976? They didn't "prove" that were was a second shooter, but their conclusions "strongly suggested" that Oswald did not act alone. Just being technical here though, they completely tore apart the Warren Commission and pretty much said that the the most likely conclusion based on evidence available was that there was a conspiracy, and a "high probability" that there was a fourth bullet. Out of all the shady stuff the physics of the head shot and the book depository make absolutely no sense to me, and I still have yet to see or read something in-depth disproving that line of skepticism. apparently the files that haven't been public yet will be open on 2017...im a little excited about that to be honest.

watched JFK again. Goddamn that movie is a classic...excellent editing, fantastic acting job by Tommy Lee Jones and Donald Sutherland, amazing soundtrack. Always makes me want to legit research the assassination, but at this point theres so much info/disinfo that I wouldn't even know where to start.

i have a kid in one of my classes with special needs (hard of hearing), so i can only show documentaries with subtitles....I bought an amazing one called Up From Slavery....and realized it has no subtitles....WTF how does a company make a documentary on a fucking Blu-Ray disc and NOT ADD SUBTITLES? Im frantically searching for an alternative but so far have found nothing that wouldn't cost and arm and a leg (not to mention it wouldn't get here on time).....and the institution im working at has done absolutely shit to help me cater to special needs students. Im fucking freaking out over this. Lesson learned: Colleges don't give a shit about providing docs or resources for people hard of hearing, but fuck if its their problem when you can't seem to accommodate them.

So I've always sorta avoided this area, save for Giorgio Moroder (because who doesn't love The Chase). But I found a few others that I think are absolutely amazing, and asked some bmore friends for recs, and they link me to basically shitty modern italo-trance...im looking for more of the old school discoteque stuff. yeah i know, i just wanted to feed into the whole "idm = magical autistic superpowers" mindset that a lot of people seem to have here. i must have missed this conversation? autism is a good thing? anyways, these "tests" if we assume they work as they claim only indicate autistic tendencies, not an actual autistic diagnosis. I mean, I know people that engage in OCD behavior once and a while but they aren't literally burdened with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. They are just really really anal about cleaning up their shelves.

jesus!!! i dunno if ive ever played a console game more than ten times through.....its gotta be worthwhile then. Im up to Chapter 2 and it was good ol' Dead Space classic fun so far....though the very beginning where you can't fend for yourself pissed me the fuck off (i died about 20 times before I got hold of the plasma cutter), but now its starting to feel good. I housed the fuck out of that Ch. 1 boss.

finally settled on a game, impulse bought Dead Space 2 for 20 bucks. Ive been told its much worse than the original...but I figure ill still enjoy it. got a nice big bottle of Doublejack IPA ill be sippin to....cuz I like to get my drink on and talk shit to the necromorphs.

This series, or just her videos in general, deserve their own thread. I only started watching them the other day but she certainly makes some awesome arguments. I'd rather watch them without having TheAmazingAtheist's misogynistic bullshit videos and incoherent rants by Men's Rights Activists (lol) popping up on the sidebar though I saw this for the first time today and was unaware about all the controversy surrounding it - the content was good but the delivery was abysmal. It sounded like a bored student reading an end of year paper to her class. Plus she got nearly $160,000 worth of donations, which at 12 intended episodes works out at over $13,000 per episode - what on earth has she done to justify that $13,000 over those 20 minutes ? I found this series a lot more enlightening and engaging - and they didn't ask for a penny: http://retrowaretv.com/category/shows/the-video-game-years/ yeah the production could be MUCH better....but honestly what she had to go through because of this is/was disgusting, and its cheesy but Im proud of her to stand up to that level of harassment. I certainly don't know if I could put up with it.
